hi everyone,
so before i get going with the question i`ll let you know im not just doing some lazy repost, i did a search for my answer and didnt find any threads on this topic.

so anyways! ive recently been looking into pagan creation myths, especially ones that are possibly still around from the celts. so far the only luck ive been able to find are a few stories that people have written in the past few years, which seem pretty inaccurate to me, and a possible story from ireland. the irish story starts not with the creation of all of existance, but with the creation of ireland and its people. now my question is, have any of you found any celtic creation myths out there that I have been missing or is my idea correct that those stories are part of the lost history?

The boy says that all he's read of it begins with them coming to Ireland, rather than the creation of the land.

Is there a dusty type used book store near you? I'd spend a few hours in there reading all the myths I could find.

Mhm i agree. I mean there are literilly tons of books on creation mythology...it's not hard to find when you know where to look. Just look at Mythology section in any used or new bookstore or go onto Amazon. Creation stories though are in part, used in ritual anyways, as a way of focussing and creating an atmosphere so it doesnt matter really and I doubt the people, or most of them, dont literilly believe them. They are very powerful metaphors used for therapeutic purposes in most cases. But yeah, Celtic mythology has been thoroughly studied and many other systems :).
