Second Opinion, please? :)

Anyone willing to give me a second opinion on this reading? Please, pretty please? I believe I have the jist of it, but I'm just a bit uncertain of whether I have it or not.

The reading is for me, a new moon reading performed last night for a basic "where am I at, what energies are influencing me at this time and for the next moon" reading. Dark moon spread, which looks like this (http://paganwiccan.about.com/cs/tarotspreads/p/darkmoon.htm):

3 (What I should be receiving): Page of Pentacles

4 (How my surroundings affect me): Queen of Pentacles

5 (What I should be giving others): 7 of Pentacles

6 (Something that will soon begin): IV Emperor

7 (The lesson I should be learning): VIII Strength

I won't bias you with my own interpretations, but I will say I have the most trouble with the court cards (hate em hate em hate em) and would like a bit more in depth feedback than I'm capable of.

1 (What I am releasing): 2 of Swords
You will have to make a decision. The stance of "wait & see" is a luxury you can't afford anymore. Whatever it is you need to decide, now is the time.

2 (What I should be keeping): 2 of Cups
There is a partnership, a sense of loving someone or something (not necessarily romantic love) that you should hang on to. This person can help you with the decision you have to make. Or, if not a person, then something you love will help you grow.

3 (What I should be receiving): Page of Pentacles
A sense of responsibility and wanting to learn. Whatever the decision is, you'll need to learn more about what it is that you're doing. A sense of curiosity and wanting to know how everything works, being excited about the learning process is important.

4 (How my surroundings affect me): Queen of Pentacles
I think the surroundings are quite comfortable. Maybe a bit too comfortable for what you need to do. Perhaps you should change it up a bit, make it more conducive to whatever work you need to get done instead of a relaxing sort of place. Get something to inspire you to get stuff done.

5 (What I should be giving others): 7 of Pentacles
Patience. Things don't happen overnight, it takes time & nuturing to see results. If you are patient with yourself & others it will be a much more enjoyable experience and you may learn more from it.

6 (Something that will soon begin): IV Emperor
You'll need to take charge. You'll need to be practical. Cut out things that don't work for you. Make sure everyone has everything they need, but don't overindulge them. Be the boss.

7 (The lesson I should be learning): VIII Strength
Being in charge of the situtation might be hard for you. How does the old saying go? Something about not knowing how someone will react to having power until you give it to them. Try to be a good leader without falling into the traps of either being too wishy washy or being a crazy dictator. No power-tripping! :)

I have the most trouble with the court cards (hate em hate em hate em) You might want to invest in the book by Greer & Little: Understanding the Tarot Court. Excellent book, excellent exercises.

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense, all of it. And thanks especially for the book suggestion. I'll see if I can pick it up next time I'm out of town... Anything to help with the court cards... *lol*
