Northern Westchester County New York?

Hello,

I know that there are some members here from NY. I am wondering if anyone nows of any events goin on around where I live? I know a lot goes on in NYC, and also far north of me. While this is okay once in a while, I'm not able to travel like that often! It would be hard enough for anyone, but couple that with the fact that I am visually impared, and so can not drive myself, and I think you'll get the picture, *smile.*
I would be prefferably looking for something in Westchester county, but am willing to travel as far as Rockland. I know, what a traveler, LOL!

hey rockland isn't so far...it's where I live! :D

The Clearwater Festival is happenning soon. I think Riverfest passed....that's the riverkeepers festival. If you click this link: www.nyjournalnews.com (http://www.nyjournalnews.com) that's the newspaper's link and you can find the events calander on it.

I live in Haverstraw (soon to be Stony Point). Which is in Rockland and closer to the Bear Mountain Bridge. Where abouts do you live?

Do you know where Croton is? Yes, Clearwater is right in my backyard, Lol! I went to it once a few years, and had a blast! Unfortunately, I will be in CT on that weekend, but I'm definately making it next year! When are you moving?

okay, go to the river, (in Croton). Look across. That's where I live. LOL

I went to high school in Westchester (Dobbs Ferry). So, yeah, I know the town. I'm moving to Stony Point, which is up by Bear Mountain.
