Hey KEishin.. =)
Been awhile since I actually posted here but I wanted to finally get back around to saying thank you very much for the in depth synastry reading you did for me almost, what, a year ago? Wow. Didn't realize that I had been offline that long until now. =)
Anyways.. It was spot on and very insightful and helped me progress my understanding of synastry readings and etc.. So, I was wondering, if you are up to it, and have the time, would you mind doing another one for me? I'm not in any hurry or anything and I would truly appreciate any effort you would put towards this reading. If you're game, here's the scoop.. :

Also... if you care, the things I'm mostly interested in are relating aspects to Chiron (especially!), Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Juno.
Thanks a million if you want to help me with this. Godspeed!
Peace!

Sure thing - give me a few days to finish it up. I'm in the middle of a rather busy week.
Thanks for the kudos! It's always nice to have testimonials. :)

I could have written pages about this combo as I found a bunch of stuff that peaked my interest here. :) In summary, most of her planets tend to fall in the heavily populated upper part of your chart. Though your chart is top heavy and hers is bottom heavy neither of you are shrinking violets, so you can expect a lot of fun, laughs and social behavior. There is some serious sparkage to be found here and being that you’re both Scorpios, the bedroom should be quite the place! Whatever happens it’s certain you won’t forget each other.
I look first to your 7th houses. Shawn, for you it is Cancer; while for Shanna it is Aquarius. You are looking for someone who is always emotionally there for you and helps to soften your rather austere Capricorn outer persona. Her Leo Ascendant falls right at the end of your 7th house so while you look for the nurturing Cancerian types; they better have a strong backbone. (Though you are a little uncomfortable expressing your inner Leo, having a Leo-ish partner will do you wonders. She’ll tend to dote on you with her Moon in your 5th and help to make yu more comfortable with that part of you.) The Moon rules Cancer and yours is in Taurus and in the 4th house – family and home are very important to you and you need someone who take on their share of managing the home. Since her Midheaven is sitting right next to your Moon, were you to be married, you may expect her to stay home and take care of the kids/house/family – hopefully this is cool with her!
She on the other hand is looking for some who is different from the average guy out there – different religion, race, education, family or cultural background. But before anything goes forward she needs to feel the “spark” – that’s the most important thing - to do otherwise could lead her to get into a relationship where she later wanders away out of boredom. Don’t fence her in either – she values her freedom. It would be silly to change your religion or get a job saving whales to impress her, but you may want to consider having an unusual hobby to share with her and attract her eye. (“Gee, you’re into astrology?” Cool!”) This can be attributed to Aquarius on the 7th, plus Jupiter conjunct and in mutual reception to the 7th house dispositor in Sagittarius the 5th (house of marriage, children, leisure, etc). Your Sun/Moon midpoint (the point the chart exactly between the Sun and Moon) sits exactly on her Descendant (and conversely opposes her Ascendant), which is a huge indication of attraction between two people. Midpoints can be thought of as the meeting place where the energies of each planet combine into something new. Since the Sun = ego and the Moon = emotions, this gives a good idea of where you seek to combine your personal goals and your feelings. And interestingly enough her Sun/Moon midpoint squares your Sun and Moon – another big attractor! I’ve rarely seen such a strong pair of midpoints in synastry. I’m certain you two felt some sort of instant connection.
Since you asked about specific planets:
Your Jupiters oppose each other rather tightly and create a very solid T-square to your Venus/her Sun. (Your Juno sits right on her Jupiter so include that here too.) While not too worrisome it does indicate the need to rein in the fun on occasion. Neither of you tend to slack off normally but when together you have so much fun that you can forget or dismiss the more important stuff. Playing hard must be balanced by working hard. With Juno in the mix you both may often overemphasize the importance of being in a relationship. (You both have Juno square Jupiter) I see this often in the person who just "can't live" without a significant other; so much so they keep many at the same time, just in case one fades away. Juno in the horoscope indicates the type of person you actually fall for, not the one you think you need, so don’t toss the good ones out so readily.
There is a weak Grand Cross that includes that T, with Chiron on the bottom corner. This is like watching an annoyingly slow train wreck at times – you can see problems happening in front of but you can’t take your eyes away in time to do anything. Your goals may not be her goals and trying to adapt to each other may cause a few misfires and end up more problematic than when you first brought it up. You may disagree on moral or philosophical viewpoints and there may be feelings of needing to choose between personal growth and the demands of the relationship. It’s not as dire and either/or as it sounds – but it won’t be easy to balance assumptions either of you have about how their partner is “supposed” to behave. Your relationship is not always the healthiest place to express your frustrations with the other person. Work on developing compassion for each other’s weaknesses and protect and support the other as appropriate.
Her Sun and Juno are right next to your Venus, adding a feeling of happiness and contentment, and there is this nice 3/9th house connection with both of your Venuses, so don’t stay home – go travel, take a class together or sit around and talk philosophy. Whatever it is make sure it’s a common interest. Her Venus and Mars fall in your 9th house so especially consider traveling together for fun. But don’t forget about her Pluto I that group. Juno is conjunct her Pluto and Sun so watch for obsessive behaviors from her. Affection can easily move from “I love you,” to “I hate you” to “I’m gonna stalk you forever.” Pluto doesn’t do anything in moderation. It’s amusing, because that intensity isn’t always seen on first measure – she may be described more as “cute” and uses that air of innocence (even if she’s not) to her best advantage. But as a Scorpio you’re used to doing that anyway so it shouldn’t be difficult for you to deal with.
