I have been studying and figuring out my Path for about a year now. Why do I still feel like I know nothing!? Well, not nothing, but next to it. There is still sooooo much more to learn. That is a good thing, but I feel overwhelmed at times.

Has anyone else felt like this?

Every day!!! Especially when I compare myslf yomy husband who was lucky enough to grow up in a apgan home. It's just like everything else. It takes time and surprise no matter how long you've been practising there is always more to learn.....

Oo OO!!! Me!! ME!!!! *raises hand in air*

I feel like that at LEAST once a month. So don't feel bad, I think it's just something we all go through.

...but don't give up EVER! You are on the right path, but it's a long, winding one. As far as I'm concerned, no one has all the answers. We all have our opinions, and we can learn a lot from those who have been on the path longer and have more experiences to draw from. I feel like if you're not learning, you're not living. I grew up in a strict Baptist family - I don't know how the preacher kept his voice through endless Sundays screaming at us from the pulpit. I always felt like there had to be more to life than fearing going to hell. I know I'm at home now, even though I know I have so much to learn. It's fun...I feel free. And now that I've found MW, I have people to talk to about everything that's new or confusing or beautiful. The people here are like friendly strangers I'm meeting along my path, who advise me which forks to avoid or which ones lead to a cool stream. We're all here for eachother - no one is alone! And we're ALL learning.

The thing is we're here to learn, so we should always be learning. Take pride in the fact that you want to grow and learn.

Add me to the list too! There's always new stuff coming up & I want to learn everything. :D I don't think I'm ever going to stop...maybe when I die but it'll be another learning experience too!

Sometimes, I have so many things I want to do & work on. I make a list & work on one thing at a time. I'll set myself time frames for projects. Like when I was learning my tarot cards. I devoted myself 2 months just to learn the cards & play around with them before I would let myself even think of starting anything new. It sort of works.

That's the one drawback I find about being here at Mysticwicks. There's always really great interesting things being discussed & I keep thinking of looking into this or that. My list keeps growing because of this place.

Another thing too. Once in a while, take a break. Give yourself a few weeks off...to let what you've learned to sink in & be absorbed. There's no rush.

Mmmm, chocolate! It is *always* the answer. :p

I know!! This is a big part of my problem too. I saw the threads on palmistry and runes and I want to try them too. I literally have to drag myself away from clicking on them. LOL! I am still working on my Tarot cards but I get all excited and want to try everything.

Thanks for your support here, I feel better today. :)
