We got this EVP a couple of nights ago. Can't quite understand, but it sounds something about "Daddy......"
I'll try to get it cleaned up and repost. Just wanted to get some other ears to hear it and interpret it.

It does sound like a child's voice but I can't make out what it's saying at all.

Me either. Are you using Quicktime or something else?

I'm using a Mac program called Sound Studio that saves the files as AIF, but also saves as wav, mp3, mpeg-4. Whatever format, let me know, I can post it. I've been able to take files to work and listen on the pc at work. Sorry for the hassles. Please let me know. Is the file just not downloading? If you send me an email, I can reply back with an attachment instead.

The Olympus digitals are widely regarded as a good brand to use for EVP work. According to people who use them, they capture more with the Olympus models than they do with other brands. What you might consider trying is two recorders simultaneously to see if you can get the same EVP on both. If you do this, I'd get the same model as you're currently using since you know you get results with it. An interesting thing about EVP is that sometimes a recorder of one brand will pick one up and another brand won't, but that other brand will capture EVPs that the first brand won't. You could try a third recorder of a different brand to see if any other EVPs show up, but all these recorders can get expensive.
No luck on the links, BTW.

No luck on the links, BTW.I'll try this with FireFox.
I'm using an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder. I set it to record for approx 4.5 hours, go to bed, and upload it to my computer in the morning. So I never know what I'm going to get. It can be a rather eye-opening experience when the drone of nothingness goes on and on and on and then a voice pops in! My wife and I have a rule: if one of us has the headphones on at the computer, flip the light switch on and off (or off and on) BEFORE coming in and touching your shoulder! Saves on replastering the ceiling where the head hits!! Here's another couple, captured during one of the investigations.

Still nothing. You might bring this up in the Site Room and see if someone there can take a look at what you're trying to post, and maybe help figure out what's going on.

i got all three just foine, the little gilrs voice is very faint, it's hard to make out what she's saying.
The last two are creepy, especially the you shouldnt have turned you head one.

Wow, the 'don't belong in here' one is really clear.
The 'they shouldn't have' one to me almost sounds like 'they shouldn't help me.'

It doesn't sound like anything but voices to me. I can't make out anything that they're saying.

It just keeps taking me to a blank screen when I click on them.. and nothing happens :( Sounds like some interesting stuff though :) (From what others are saying)

Those are so short its hard to make out anything. There was an episode of Ghost Hunters where they had a similar EVP though. It clearly was a child that said You don't belong here.
There was also another one that said, they don't want us. Interesting stuff.
I wonder though, if its not really just picking up noises through vibrations from far away. Since they got the sensitivity turned up on the mike, it could probably pick up sound waves not heard by the human ear, but still sound thats coming from other places easily.

That is absolutely fascinating. There is definitely a voice in there. I'd love to learn more about EVP. That definitely sounded like a little girl..
