What did your partner wish for during your first pregnancy?

When you were pregnant with your first child, which gender was the father hoping for?

My husband didn't really care either way, as long as the baby was healthy and happy.

I was hoping for a girl. :lol: But, I also didn't really care either way.

We had a boy.

My husbands 20th birthday present was that I was pregnant. he was THRILLED he called everyone he could think of! He jsut wanted our baby to be healthy. We were about 7 months along before we knew for a fact we were having a boy.

My husband didn't care. We lost two pregnancies before this one, so all he was concerned about was that it was a healthy baby.

I wanted a girl.

We had a boy.

We couldn't be happier. :D

We both wanted a girl. We couldn't even come up with a name for a boy. When the people at work asked if I knew whether it was a boy or a girl, I told them it was either going to be a girl or a hairdresser! LOL

He doesn't have a preference, though he's convinced it's a boy because his father's side of the family seems to only make boys (he has no aunts, sisters, or female cousins on that side). I always feel that I'll have a boy and a girl and probably in that order *shrugs* but really doesn't matter to me which way it goes :)

My partner wanted a boy. He got a boy. Everyone else wanted a girl. I was so happy with a boy. Im glad I had a boy and not a girl. Im so blessed. My spouse is too!

My Husband wanted a Boy when we were pregnant with Delia. But, let me tell you, as soon as she was born, he was hooked, and has been wrapped around her little pinky ever since! There is nothing sweeter than when you watch them with their daughters that very first time---and every time after. Now they are inseparable.

He's getting a Boy this time, of course. But before we found out, he told me:

"You know, I kind of want another Girl!"

Hehe.. He's happy though, because we'll have one of each.

just editied, sounds like we dont care that i'm pregnant, we do didnt mean that just that we are happy to be pregnant and as long as the baby is healthy it dosnt matter to us.

Just have to pop in and share a funny story--when my mom was pregnant with me my dad's coworkers kept asking him if he was hoping for a boy. He really didn't care one way or another and kept trying to explain that but they kept pestering him about it. Finally he told them "I don't care one way or the other, just as long as it's definite!"
