View Full Version : Another EVP...be warned, this is creepy!

As I've said before, when I get ready to head up to bed, I'll set the digital voice recorder to 4.5 hours, set the timer to give me enough time to get upstairs, and let it run overnight.
This evp is so clear, it's like the spirits walked right up to the mic. Fair warning: We have our ideas on what the first voice is doing and it sounds somewhat ... um, self gratifying? But the scary part comes about 50 seconds later. So be patient.
The whole evp is about 2 mins. Recorded in our living room in July 2005.
I'm hoping the download issue has been resolved. If not, send me an email and I'll reply back with the evp attached. Some are able to download, others are not.

Hey, I got it to work! _happydanc
All I can say about that bit in the middle is -
The last one, the 'Help me' almost sounded too good, if you know what I mean. I've never heard one that clear, ever. Is there any possibility someone else could have done that to play a joke on you?
The first one was creepy. Very cool, but creepy.

This is surprisingly clear for an EVP, there is usually a lot more static/background noise

I've heard quite a few noise-free EVPs. There are a couple of factors I can think of that account for a higher level of background noise. The first is using an analog recorder instead of a digital. The digitals don't have nearly as much background hiss as the tapes do. The second is the use of a white noise generator. Some paranormal investigators think that white noise will make EVPs easier to hear, and will give the spirits some type of sound to manipulate to create the EVP, so they'll play it in the background. Personally, I just find it annoying. The clear ones are easier for me to hear.

I have to agree that the clarity is almost TOO clear. But it is just my wife and myself and Max the cat, and he sleeps with us. To be truthful, not many of the family really wants to sleep-over in the living room.
But on the highest honors of this great planet, there was nobody else in the house at the time of any of the evps I post.
I really hope that we could get a renowned analyst to listen to these and be interested enough to come out and investigate our house themselves.

In that case, that's really something! Have you had any luck with direct communication, asking a question and waiting a bit for a response?

We have. My wife is skittish about doing a direct interview but 2 of our daughters, also quite sensitive, have done Q&A with me and we have had results. I'm still filtering out background hum and DO have another that I can upload tonight that got the girls freaked out. They could feel this guy walking around them in circles and they got kinda aggresive with their questioning. He didn't care much for that.

Wow... that's creepy! Why do ghost have to say crap like that? Why can't they say something like "Hello, how are you?"

That is to weird. :yayah: I wonder what kind of help he needs? He obviously needs some kind of help, otherwise he wouldn't be asking, I'm assuming. I think he is stuck in your house with no way out. Is there some way you can guide him to the light? I think thats what he wants. I'm not an expert on that kind of thing, if I was I would give you advice on showing him to the light if at all possible, if it is a spirit?? May be something else entirely for all I know, but I don't think so. Man if I had that thing walking around my house, I sure as hell wouldn't be sleeping very good. lol:lol: :crystalba :jawdrop: :hmmmmm: :jamsessio I want to hear some more of those for sure, please bring them on.. stay safe.......

I would be like hey help me to some crazy stuff
so i can write a book and get paid.
