Getting a job/Money spells/magic

I was wondering, does anyone know of any good spells or any magical ways of drawing jobs to you, i really need a part time job, and i am looking, but i need a way to try and 'pull' some towards me, i'm kind of looking for some kind of bar work or work in a restaurant, so are there any gods that i could ask or pray to or anything magical that you know of.

Also, as i'm a student, i really need money, that's why i'm going to sell a lot of my things (a lot of 'pagan' books, other stuff too), and i was wondering, are there any ways to make sure i get a good price for the things i sell (like maybe blessing them in the name of a deity or creating a sigil or spell or whatever), are there any supernatural entities that could be of help or even any rituals i could do.

Anyway, sorry if this sounds like i'm begging too much, it's just i really need to do these things.

Invoke the mighty god, Daem, an ancient and powerful deity my family served for hundreds of years. Daem was a god of alcohol (especially the production and distribution of) of the ancient north, not Norse (Anglo-Saxon I think). He was fond of honey liquor as a sacrifice if I remember correctly. Ummm... I guess you need a mental image so; he was muscular with his hands on the reins of a thousand queen bees, who in exchange for relative autonomy gave him a thousand gallons of honey, which was turned into liquor and served to him and his followers. However, I doubt you will want to use a deity you know nothing about.

A good ritual, well it worked for me I got a job taking water samples at lakes, $9.90 an hour isn't bad for a summer job but I digress, make a sock puppet (sock puppets are best because you have complete control over their movements though if you are good with the puppets on strings that's better) decorate it to resemble you, then breath into it's mouth (giving it some of your essence and the "breath of life"), then you should anoint it's head in spit (or other bodily fluid) with a symbol or word(s) of power (any symbol you find powerful will work). Then build for it a small bar or restaurant (doesn't have to be pretty or small even, actually you just really have to represent the location and focus on the idea of it but it tends to be easier with a more accurate model). When all this is done place the puppet into the setting (going through the motions of getting the job in poetic form or chant), indicate it as the place of employment, and if you want say or chant important things, dance around it, basically do whatever feels good at the time. Then sit the puppet in the model for 8 days. Afterwards take the puppet out and if you still haven't found a job by that point where the puppet on your right foot (or whatever foot is strongest) and rely on the puppet and it will lead you to your job.

Tell me if you intend to try it, or at least tell me why you won't... besides if it worked for me, it will work for you.

Note: you really ought to throw in whatever magical techniques you know, visualization, meditation, chanting, using drugs, whatever you normally do incorporate it, you will find it more effective I think since I designed it to represent me and my ideas.

Oooo... if you want to pull in the job, think fishing, visualize a fish with "job" emblazoned on its side, and simply reel it in. That would be a good thing to do each night before bed, and each morning upon awakening.

I don't think there is a god of Ebay yet, so make one up, I suggest you call it Yeba... flesh it out and pray to it, it will work (I mean I work with a god based on a cookie and another based on a fish so it should work)

But a general guide to selling things is to find an idiot and sell it to him/her. Also it helps to know the depreciated value of what you are selling and price it accordingly.

On another note, since you are a student you could try praying to a deity of learning or knowledge for assistance.

I don't do rituals for money, I find just asking for money and jobs etc I tend to get them just be very positive and optimistic and you will draw jobs and money to you! :)

What I found much more effective than magic in these cases is to write down what kind of job you want. Don't be too specific - rather, write down who you wnat to be in the job you're looking for. What kind of people do you want to work with? How do you want to FEEL doing the job? That sort of thing. Then when you get interviews, go in with the attitude that THEY need YOU; don't tell them why you need the job, but point out how they can benefit from hiring you.

If you want to bring magic into it, do self-affirming exercises and lots of grounding and centering, it'll make you radiate positivity and confidence!

I cant find the search key, but there a post in this forum asking for the same advice. Shalaye Sabariego (i think its spelled this way :idea: ) gave an incredible spell. I used it and got great results, unfortunatly, i didnt save the spell...but search for older threads and i'm sure you'll find it.
