I'm hoping someone can help me. I came up with a new divination system based on the runic method and I'd like to submit them somewhere to be made (or at least looked at). Being so familiar with Llewellyn, I contacted them for help but with no success. They had contacts for Tarot, books and artwork, but no other kind of divination systems. I sent an email to them to see if they could help me find a way for me to get these noticed however, I never heard from them or at least, not yet.

I was just wondering if anyone here knew of any place where I can send a "proto-type" of these stones to see if they'd be 'publishable'. (New word? hehehe)

I'd appreciate any help--BLESSINGS ALL!!! :loveduv:

No but you might try the Books forum.

Where... people who write Books...go

Thanks. I was going to try there first, but since I've had trouble with book publishers regarding these stones, I thought I'd try here first. :)

If you have something new, you had better take a look at getting patton #, or someone with the know who and where might see them and sell them under their own label. And you will be left out in the cold.

You know, I forgot all about that! That is one of the reasons I'm looking for a respectable place to submit this stuff. When it comes to something like this, I'm on very shaky ground--at least when I write, I have some idea of the protocol.

Thanks so much for the suggestion! :bigredgri

Hi! You might also want to try contacting US Games.

Thanks, I had thought of US Games too! I've been to their site a few times but honestly couldn't figure out which of their many email addresses to write to.

The silly thing is, I live only a few blocks from them and have been tempted to just "storm the gates." ;) LOL (I just wish they'd open their own store! TAROT CARDS EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

HEHEHE :boing:

You should just storm right in there if they are really close to you, get them interested!
Id plot a cunning stunt to really get there attention and make your idea stand out from the crowd! :D

Good luck!

Here's hoping for you . I've thought about creating my own tarot deck before. Dream cards as well.
the ruins as cards would be really cool too.
hope everything goes better then expected :bigredgri

Well now that I know I have "backers" I guess I'd better get moving on this whole thing, eh??? --__--__--Marching of to 'battle--__--__-- LOL :ack:

Speaking of Rune Cards, have you seen the deck by Silver RavenWolf? I don't have them (yet) however, I have seen them and liked what I saw. Llewellyn publishes them and I have seen them at many bookstores.

There is also a new "kit" to make your own tarot deck. The one thing I like about the "kit" idea is that they have already cut the cards for you! hehehe (Anything that saves work, works for me! :D )

Thanks for the encouragement!!! I've been holding off on this idea for a few years, but now I feel that maybe it's time has finally come. Thanks guys!!!!! Blessings!!!!!!!!! :loveduv:
