Hey everyone!
I need some ideas for a house protection spell. On May 5th some people broke into my house and stole my pain meds. Well, a month later, June 4th, someone entered my house again and stole all my pain meds again. I'm pretty darn upset to say the least and I need something to reinforce the mundane protection. We had thought that we were fine before. This time, since all the windows are locked up tight, they picked the lock on the backdoor, stole my meds and some money this time too. Now we have a deadbolt on the back door too. I've put up a thick mattress pad over the front window too over the blinds to keep people from looking in. We figured out last night how someone knew where we hid the key to my safe where I kept my meds at. *sigh* I'm feeling pretty violated and very unsafe right now. I'll take any and all suggestions! Thank you all!

Mirrors ward off evil
Make protection satchels and burry them at each corner of the property
Everytime u enter or leave your home mentally draw a blue pentacle over the door and points of entry they take
Plant protective plants
Some protective herbs include:
Acacia, Marigold, Bamboo, Mint, Basil, Pine, Bay, Birch, Rosemary, Cinnamon, Dragon's Blood, Valerian, Elder, Garlic, Lavender to name a few
Protective oils include:
Patchouly, Rose Geranium, Rosemary, Rue
Protective colours:
White, blue
You could burn a white candle laced with the protective oils as well, umm thats quickly off the top of my head if I remember anything else important ill let you know
Also look at getting better security  it may well be worth it :)

You could make "go away" powder too, but be careful because if you're not specific it can keep everyone away, including friends.
Gather things like thistles, rose thorns, bindis from the grass, blackberry thorns... sharp things that grow wild.
Gather or buy some spices, the type that make your eyes water, chilli powder, pepper, mustard... really potent smelling stuff. Make sure it smells bad, lol.
Crunch it all up in your mortar and pestle (sp) and pour all your negitive feelings into the powder. Make up a chant while you do this if it helps, or say a prayer... whatever you would usually do.
sprinke it on the outside of every door frame and window sill, the little man hole to get under your house, everywhere... and around the edge of your property too if you like.
Some people add water to this and "paint" it on so it sticks better but that's up to you.
Best wishes!

I tried finding a specific protection spell for thiefs but i couldn't so: A good idea is to invoke your House Guardians, whether they are dragons, ancestors, elements or other spirits.
Also Folk Charms for House Protection by Silver Ravelwolf:
-Hang a pair of open scissors over the front door to cut off negativity from entering the house.
-Place a small bag of Angelica, rosemary and mint under the four eaves of the attic or the four corners of the property.
-Hang a cluster of acorns on the front door to protect the residence and those who live in it.

Well there is one that I like where you mix a large amount of protective herbs (they don't have to be expensive in fact oak leaves might work well), Then you make a circle around your house. When they are around your house visualize large protective, mystical vines growing from the herbs and wrapping around your house. I just really like that visual.
Okay next thing that you can try is animal related. First get a statue (I got mine at a dollar store) of a protective animal that you like. Pass it through the elements and visualize each element empowering the statue. Then make an offering to the spirits of (insert animal here), asking that it bless and empower your statue. See the statue glowing with life. Then just place it near a window or dor facing out.
Then of course there is always the classic "witch bottle." Fill a jar with garlic and other protective herbs, as well as nails and vinegar. Empower the bottle to neutralize any harmful energy comming your way. You can seal the bottle with black wax. Then bury it on your property as close to the front door as possible.
Thats all I can think of for now good luck with everything.

all the above are good idea. i like the witch bottle one (though id use your own urine rather then vinegar) and the one of making a powder with thorny and unpleasant bits in.
id stress that mundane security improvements are far better. also speak to the local police to see if they have any advice - if they are coming for your meds trhen perhaps your local police will give you free locks and security kit (they do sometimes for those most vulnerable here in the UK)
if possible, get a small gargoyle or monster statue and create some sort of protective spirit or invite one to move into the statue - feed it, keep it happy and empowered and give it the job of protecting your home. give it a home by the front or back door.

I like ancestral_lee's idea of gargoyles or protective statues.
I would suggest also servitors/egregores. He suggested it but it is a great idea. I can truly say that a servitor.. created and empowered correctly and with the right intent.. can provide protection for you and your house that not much more can. But also.. if you go this route.. read as much as you can about them before you start the work.. there are dangers... as i can also testify to.. but.. if worked correctly.. and kept in place.. it is wonderful for protection.

Thank you all for so many things I can do. I like the statues thing and didn't even think of that. I really like the nasty bits mix and smelly stuff. *evil grin*
I live in an apartment and the person I'm pretty sure that did it is in the apartment next to mine. I'll attach a pic of the place so you can see what I mean.
I've done all I can do as far as the mundane security by locking windows and having deadbolts on both doors now. Only the backdoor didn't have one before. There's nothing else I can do to make this place any more secure.
The problem with the police here is I didn't and can't call them for this robbery. I called them last month on the 5th when I was robbed the first time. The cop who came to my house had already made up his mind about me before he got here. He barely looked around my place, took my husband outside for a few minutes and then came back inside and proceeded to call me a liar, said I set the whole thing up to look as if someone had broken in (it was through the window), called me a dealer, then settled for calling me an addict and told me I needed help. The clincher was when he said if I insisted on making him file a report on the indcident that he would arrest me and throw me in jail for filing a false police report.
So, the supposed "law enforcement" here is a joke when it comes to being a legitimate pain patient. I'll do all I can on the mundane level and otherwise to make my family safe.
I could also copy here how to make a Morrigan Protection Incense if you want.
Good luck and be safe

I've never heard of this one. I would love to have it if it's not too much trouble. Thank you.
Thanks again for all the suggestions. If anyone else can think of anything else then chime in and speak up!

can i askm what pain meds do you take? do you have a doctors prescrition or letter?
if you do, report it and then complain about the officer. if you have a medical certificate then you have everything you need.

It's a narcotic and I take them by prescription from my pain management doctor. It's been a month since the cop was here so wouldn't do me much good to say anything now. I was so upset I didn't even look to see what his name was and my husband was so pissed off he doesn't know either and he didn't leave a card or anything.
Having a letter from the doctor is a good idea though. An explanation of what I take, why and what I suffer from would help alot in an emergency if I couldn't explain to an emergency worker how I need to be treated.
Thanks for the letter idea!!

How about a burgler alarm?

You could get small little spy cameras and put them pointing towards the front and back doors, so you can get proof of the break ins. You could even get fake ones that look real as a warning. I'm thinking of doing that for my place, which is a townhouse situation that looks an awful lot like yours (though I haven't had any break ins yet, but I have reason to believe that won't remain true).
Also, Midsummer is coming up next week. If I'm not mistaken, that is one of the perfect times to cast both healing and protection spells, as well as ask the aid of fae and other creatures for protection. This might be the best time for you to take the suggestions the others have provided for additional protection.

How about a burgler alarm?
Is a good idea, but I rent and don't have the money. :(
But I have since learned...just yesterday as a matter of fact, that they were making it look as if they came in through the window and backdoor. They actually came through the attic!!!
I found proof when I went up to clean and straighten the bedroom closet. I looked a few days after this last incident and saw a piece of the firewall in the attic missing. There was a complete firewall there before these a**holes moved in! So....now we know and I'm trying to give my landlord a kick in the butt to get my attic access bolted down and put that piece of drywall back in place again. I'm getting very antsy because it's just about time for them to want to come in again. Calling everyday doesn't do any good because he just shuts his phone off. *rolls eyes* He's not the brightest nor best person around, but he likes us. *chuckles*

Ahhh yes. I haven't given much thought to what time of the year it was. Thank you for reminding me! I will be doing some spell work for sure!
This place hasn't been the best taken care of in the attic. The whole building up there is accessible from one place to another, except for ours. This end apartment is the only one that had an intact firewall on it. See above post. :)
Hopefully it'll be done soon so we can feel safe again. I know that a regular townhouse, the four square ones either don't have an attic access at all or if it does they're individual as far as I know. I think they call these places townhouse apartments and there are 4 traditional townhouses right next door. There's more of these type of places though around here. It seems like it was once popular or something and they built a whole bunch. Just in the 2 block area here there are about 8 of them.
