My husband and I had a mutual agreement to get divorced after a long seperation (he wanted it more than I) after I had a headupbuttectomy and finally came to my senses, I would say more but the details can be given to someone privately if someone can help. One thing I will say is , We are solar opposites, but do have many other things in common.

He is also going through some major life altering transits, "plutonian I do believe".

We have discussed the possibility of getting back together somewhere down the road but he has said there is much healing to do first, also the need for me to really...embrace the "Letting go" concept, Sometimes I think it is because he may know something more than what he is telling me about his/mine transits.

Ok, I guess what I am trying to say is this..."Does a couple that is growing and changing beyond old habits through life altering transits, and that are solar opposite's, with him being a Scorpio with a Taurus moon--I also think he is Pisces rising and has strong saggitarious , and me being Taurus with Cancer moon, and 6 points strong in Aries...Do we have any chance of starting a new and beneficial relationship?

:fpraise: for any help anyone can give!

p.s. I feel like, deep down, there is a strong chance with the growth we are both going through.

I'm not familiar with the term solar opposites. Does this mean they are on opposite sides of the zodiac?

I know water signs and earth signs are very compatible. They are also grouped into Fixed, Mutable and Cardinal. If I remember correctly, both Taurus and Scorpio are Fixed that means they are both really stubborn.

That still makes them compatible more than not so I guess its the interaction of your other signs that matter in this case.

Thanks MoonDragn,
Yes, I guess solar opposites are two sun signs that are totally opposite, and thanks for the info on them being fixed, I forgot about that...I'm rather new at this and all the info I have has been learned from my ex and also his mentor, a lady that lives across the street from where we used to live together.

If two elements are compatible (eg two fire signs, or air and fire) that's great. However, the "mode" (cardinal, fixed, mutable) being the same isn't necessarily so great - for instance, Leo and Taurus are "square" to each other and can clash because Leo has fixed ideas that *differ* from Taurus's fixed ideas - and neither will budge!

However, oppositions aren't quite so bad because at least the elements are compatible.

To answer Winged's question though, we'd need the full birth data.

If we look at the "synastry" between you (comparing two charts), there is a theme of wounding/healing in the relationship - your Venus is right on his Chiron; Venus is about love and relationships, Chiron is the wounded healer. If you can both come to terms with where you hurt each other, this pattern can be broken and the relationship can work well.

The usual indicators for a relationship are Sun/Moon contacts, and Venus/Mars contacts. Your Sun is on his Moon which bodes well; no Venus/Mars contacts, though. This doesn't look like a conventional relationship; the other main contact is Ceres, the asteroid to do with nurturing. His Ceres is on your Ascendant, yours is on his node - this relationship feels like one where one of you is "care managing" the other. There really are signatures of healing/wounding/care-managing here; if the stuff you're both going through lets you both understand this dynamic, then yes - you can make another go of it and not fall into that trap next time.

The main transit he's going through is Saturn squaring his Sun/Moon opposition - I'm not seeing much in the way of Pluto; I've assumed a birthtime of 15:30 which would make Pluto cross his midheaven, but the timing of this transit could be way out if you're not sure about his birth time. His transits are nearly over - they've been going on for months, and finish in early July.

You've also got some Saturn stuff going on - Saturn crossing your Ascendant in July.

Saturn transits can feel pretty heavy - so I'd hang on and see how you both feel by mid-July.

Fluffmeister,

Thank you so much, I new my intuition was right! We were about to give up working together at our 100 year old mutually run grocery store, because I couldn't take feeling the way I feel about him and him being unsure. I somehow knew there was at least a chance things would work out. I even thought about July, it just stuck in my head. I won't put the cart before the horse on this one, but it is very nice to know from another source, that it is at least possible.

Thanks Again! :fpraise:
