You may also see a forum where half the stuff you just posted in Just Talk should/could go. The Power of Scrolling! (not you, eve).
You know a great forum. Pagan family. Go down there, weather you're a father, teen, or ... something else. ;););) at eve.

Since something I have noticed is that almost all Pagans no matter what branch love to learn I don't think there will be stagnation here. I have however heard in the past from some members who are no longer with us that there is no information on Mystic Wicks only gossip and chatter. Funny thing is I noticed those people didn't post anywhere except Just Talk go figure. Plenty of good information and knowledge to be found here it's just not normally in this forum this is our catch all forum and not everyone reads it. I myself don't bother with most of what is in here and sometimes people don't get thier questions answered because they are asking in the wrong places. If people post in the right forums then the people that are interested in those topics tend to read thier thread and give them the information that they want.

Just Talk is for Just that...talking.
Its just for gabbing and saying hello...talking about movies...etc. The other areas of the site is for specific information. Thats why we have them. Go join in on the rest of the site everyone.

since just talk tends to be the bussiest forum here, i think alot of people figure their thread will be read by more people if they post here, even though its not the right forum. for example my fiancee shadowulfe posted a thread some time ago about me being pregnant because he figured more people would see that thread in just talk when it could have easily gone in pagan family (http://www.mysticwicks.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=10) or fertility magick (http://www.mysticwicks.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=36) . oh well its kind of a vicious cycle. so like the others said theres LOTS of places to go here. besides i think it's fun to explore a forum i've never been in or haven't been in for a while. well enough with my rambling.

Yes, I've heard that too. Unfortunately, I've seen a lot of questions go unanswered because it got missed in the bulk of JT.

Yup. I know *a lot* of people don't even come in Just Talk or if they do don't even read all the threads because it tends to be for chat. I also know a lot of people go to specific forums to learn and help others with related info there. Just think - if everyone made an effort to post in the right forum their answers would be found quickly, easily, and succinctly, and it would encourage even more people to do that!
And yeah, we have tons of other cool forums to check out - scroll down or you're missing out!

I, for one, almost *never* read Just Talk, becuase, well . . . I don't really wanna just "Chat". I come to MW to be educated. So if someone posts a question in here, chances are I don't see it. Or even if I do see it, chances are I won't respond if I think the person was just being too lazy to put it in the correct forum.
To me, it's a slap in the face to the people who take the time to keep this board running to not use it the way it is intended to be used.

Angelwulf if I didn't chat with the two of you from time to time on aim and yahoo I wouldn't have bothered reading the thread he posted on you. I sometimes read the help needed threads otherwise i simply include a wish for them to recieve what they need in my prayers. I also read almost nothing of the threads here unless they catch my eye when I am looking at the what are we doing thing. I know I am not alone in this so many things go unanswered by the people with the information when it is in here. Please people check out the other great forums here this is a great place and threw it I have made some real good friends I have made a difference in some people's lives and they have made a difference in mine. Mystic Wicks is so much more than a simple bbs it is a community with many facets to it explore it.

On a side note, I started getting interested in Tarot from reading the Tarot forum. I'm finding all sorts of new interests just from the questions people asks.

What a lot of the old timers have done is read through all the forums once then check the ones that interest them the most dailly and peek in the others when they have time to see what's new. It works.:) Welcome to Mystic Wicks.
