PLEASE send energies to my Dad if you can spare them. He went to the doctor today to get an ultrasound on a blood clot in his leg and they ended up finding MANY clots from his neck all the way down to his foot on his left side. There are too many to count. Literally. They IMMEDIATELY admitted him and he's on heparin (blood thinner) right now. They give this intraveiniously. They want him to have 2 bags of that and then when thats gone they will put him on coumadin, another blood thinner. They also have him on oxygen. The doctors think there is something wrong with his blood so they are doing tests to find out what is wrong. I have spent the last half an hour trying to calm my mom down because she's so scared that he's going to die. I've been telling her that they caught it, he's in the hospital and they are watching him. Quite frankly, I'm not sure I even believe what I'm telling her. I'm scared as well. He's only 58. Please, any help we can get would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
