I'm currently job hunting. One of the things I've decided to create to support the process is a talisman that is charged with drawing/attracting appropriate opportunitities/jobs and making me open/receptive to them. I've a few different construction ideas, some of which would work well based in a stone if I can find an appropriate/complimentary one: Any suggestions?
Also, any suggestions for stones generally useful on a job hunt? Any that would be of use while interveiwing?

the stone that popped into my head was citrine ... kind of a strange one i thought given my general knowledge of the stone, but something you wrote ... "a talisman that is charged with drawing/attracting appropriate opportunities/jobs and making me open/receptive to them" is likely why ... especially after i read this in dorothy roeder's book, 'crystal co-creators' ...
"citrine is specific for aiding the mind. it helps it expand and open to new ideas, including those of soul. it helps the mind expand so it can encompass the ideal your soul is seeking to bring into physical existence."
there's more roeder writes that supports your intention for your talisman, but in a nutshell that says it all. citrine is what i would suggest for your talisman. i like the other suggestions for the interview stones, especially aquamarine if your neptune (or pisces) is a prominent in your astrological chart.
good luck!

Citrine also came to me. It draws good things and repels bad things so well. CZ is right about keeping it in a pouch or if used as a pendent under your clothes. I have also found the green coloured stones are great because green is a money drawing colour.

Like CZ says to keep it in a pouch. Best results for me are low grade aquamarine, amazonite(russian) and some pyrite. The blue lace agate is good to help you keep calm.
