The mini-series on ABC has certainly peaked my interest in the actual house. Any thoughts or comments on the matter?

I enjoyed the mini series too. I'm glad Stephen King turned it into a mini series rather than release it as a motion picture, which I hear was the original plan.

Is Rose Red a real house? I hadn't heard that before...

Has anyone here checked out the Elle Rimbauer (sp?) diary? I'd like to know if it's worth picking up. :)

BB, all!

I really liked the mini-series, I wouldn't have paid $7.75 to see it tho. I'm glad they didn't make it into a movie. They would have had to cut it down a ton. No one's going to be sitting for 6 hours for a movie. The whole raining stones thing reminded me way to much of "Carrie", and makes me want to know if "Rose Red" was written before or after. Anyway I'm gonna check the library for the diary, at some point.

Wyrdsister, Yes its an actual house. My mom checked out a website about it. It said no one who has been to the house hasn't had some sort of paranormal experience. Pretty interesting and worth looking into :)
