Are my cards to blame?

ok-for the past year, since living at my boyfriend's house and now in my new apartment, I've been having issues with spirits. Well, I don't know if they are spirits or shadow people but I see these dark figures at night, usually when I am asleep and am woken up, I did see one while I was still awake it was like 9pm and it was a reflection, I saw it in the glass door of my cabinet in my living room while i was in my bedroom. Anyways-I've been reading tarot for just shy of 2 years now, and I do all sorts of readings with them. Now, my boyfriend used to tell me to get ALL of my tarot related things out of the bedroom b/c that may have been causing the "black thing" as we began calling it-to come into the room. The tarot cards may have been their door to our side. All my tarot stuff was always in the bedroom and thats the only place we ever saw the "Black thing" and now in my apt all my tarot stuff is in the living room-where I saw the reflection.

What do you guys think? Could it really be my tarot cards? If so can cleansing them help? Do I need to do a spell or use crystals to protect my apt? help!!!!!!

I would do a cleansing of the cards and your home. That's just my opinion. I can't say if it's the cards but I have the same problem and do cleansings often. Hope this helps! GL!!! :hugz:

Try smudging, and keep your cards wrapped in silk, and re-do your house protections.

(it's not the cards alone, I have dozens of decks pretty much scattered everywhere, and no problems at all.

With the paralysis you can experience some of these common things:

* A feeling of being choked or suffocated
* A feeling of someone pinning you down or sitting on you (your chest in particular)
* Being able to hear noises including footsteps and voices close by
* Being able to see beings or dark shadows surrounding or standing near the bed
* A frightening feeling of evil descending upon you
* Shaking of the body or rumbling sensation (ringing) in the ears
* feeling of untold evil surrounding you or trying to suffocate you
* Noises such as knocking or banging on the walls
* The feeling of being in a dream like state but yet thinking you are awake

I've had episodes of sleep paralysis for years, and although I've never had the feeling of being choked or suffocated, I've experienced most of the other things in that list.

Well I can say that I have had instances of sleep paralysis, but isn't it a bit of a coincidence that my boyfriend has seen them too? I'm not saying that it couldn't be that, but I think only I would see them if it was sleep paralysis. I dunno, but thanks for all of your input!!

So I'm kind of putting two and two together here as well - I've been seeing short shadows walking around recently too - and I do my readings wherever I happen to be (all over the house). I never thought to associate the two... It might be worth trying some cleansing, eh?

If no one has used them other than you then likely they are just a contributing factor rather than the cause.

All of my cards were purchased by me. One deck was purchased off of Amazon.com but I made my boyfriend check and double check that they were brand new cards, never used before. But say the cards were used to try to communicate with spirits. See, we were having these problems with seeing the "black figure" so I pulled out my cards and asked that if there was anyone else in the room who would like to communicate with me-to use the cards to do so. I know a lot of people discourage using the cards in such a manner but I wanted to try and get some sort of answer as to spiritually who was with or around me. But the cards that were pulled from the deck led to only one person-my brother who passed away-but I really really do not believe that he is the "black figure"
Maybe its just not something I'm meant to figure out!!!!

normally those close to us will appear as dark figure,
that's what i believe in.

This sounds like you saw the black figure first and then used the cards to try to find out who it was or what they wanted. If that's the case, then I don't understand why you think the cards may have opened a portal for someone?
