Would this be a bard's ability?

I have been writing fanfiction for at least two years, and so far I have nine stories published on FanFiction.Net, but three of my stories have people saying very similar things; they say my writing feels quiet and peaceful, particularly in the three fanfics that I've most recently published.

Now, I've heard of actual stories sounding quiet and peaceful, but I've never heard people say that a story makes them feel those emotions. Is this an ability that a bard is likely to have? I've been interesting in becoming a bard since I started seriously studying Celtic Wicca, but this is a very interesting thing.

A bard has the ability to captivate it's listener/reader in any emotion. It appears you specialize in bringing peace to your audience which is something you and I both share.
I congratulate you on this, as today's people are not very peace-oriented and it brings me much joy to see someone who..."specializes" in peace of some form.

A bard has the power both to soothe, and to destroy. There are many stories of bards that had been wronged by the local clan chief or king and they retaliate with satirical songs and stories, undermining the faith of the people in their leader and bringing about his downfall.

Both powers must be used wisely.

You could well be on a bardic path ... listen with your heart and you will know.

Well, I am a very laid-back person, which seems to be a rarity in this stressful war-happy country that is America. Maybe I specialize in this sort of writing because I hardly worry about anything. :)

Maybe I could do that to get people to impeach Bush, with a bit more creativity than the usual people who keep saying saying "F**k Bush." :hahugh:
