I've been gone since ... wow. September. Lots of things have been happening in my life, that necessitated I take a much-needed break from the forums. I was very stressed due to both my husband and I being without work, and dealing with what can be a very .. volatile community wasn't helping. This Tiger/Scorpio tends to allow her emotions to run rampant, and thus .. I needed a get-away.
Things have settled down for me now though, and I feel I can safely (For y'all and for me) return to the community. Honey has a good job .. selling cars here in our hometown. (Anyone in need of a car? Let me know .. he's in charge of internet sales, and cars can be shipped anywhere!) I'm still not working, and have decided that I may just pick up something part time, and then take some classes to continue my work towards a Bachelor's degree. I got my Associates .. *gasp* .. 10 years ago, but I really would like to go back to school.
Hrm. What else.
I actually have green things growing on my back patio garden and in my pots up front! I've never had much of a green thumb, but I've managed to grow tomatoes .. okay, one tomato plant, but it's thriving! As well as herbs (Culinary ones. I'm a Kitchen witch, if anything. I grow Thyme, Basil, Parsely, Chives and Oregano.), and a strawberry plant that's hanging in my front porch. And in the back, a monstrous hydrangea, and lilies that have come up on my side of the fence from the neaxt-door neighbor, and a money-wort plant that's rapidly expanding too. And my newest addition, the 4 varieties of clematis I planted out front, with trellises, to hide our ugly brick post. They're not doing a lot of hiding just yet, but they'll get there!
That's about all there is, really. I'm not terribly good at these intro things.
