Help!!!!!!!!

I need some advice. I was sitting with a firend on the bus , he was looking blue and in the need for a hug. so I sat beside him and asked what was wrong. He said that he got bad grades and that his father would beat him if he got bad grades, I want to tell some one but I don't know what to do. Any Ideas your input would be grately appreciated. I feel so scared and helpless. my mom helps kids like him and women like him and family's with problems and I thought I wanted to do this for A living. I think I'll become a palientologist instead

It's probably too late for avoiding it whatever was going to happen did but you can talk to him and see how he is if he was beaten you can make an anonomus call to the child welfare department if you feel this is serious. I'm not there and can't tell you so you will have to make this choice on your own. If it isn't something you want to call on try to just be a friend and maybe help him study to bring up his grades. Good grades can also make people feel better about themselves. If he is getting into trouble for bad grades that could make him feel bad about himself too. No matter what just being a friend that listens can help enormusly.

Too many people see abuse but don't report it. Make the anonymous call! You've got nothing to lose and your friend may have a chance at a healthy life free of fear and abuse. I was abused as a child, and my brothers saw it and recognized it for what it was (for all I know other people recognized it too), but no one wanted to get involved. That's got to be one of the reasons I'm so screwed up now. Please, report it!

Your friend. that would suck. Try to help , that sounds like a cry for help to me . Gosh isnt that sad ! I have a sticker on my wall
"Mean People Suck" that rings true in this case.I agree tell someone mabe just dont say its you , or mabe talk to your friend one on one about it and see thier feelings about the matter .I mean at least the parents could get sme help . I can't imagine what the mother goes through over dirty dishes!!!!

Yeah, do something, anything about it. If he really seemed sad that is. And the fact that he didn't say his parents were going to "f-ing kill him" most people say that about getting a bad grade on stuff. And their all still alive.
