Hey diddly ho!
I am interested in this adopt a newbie thing if it is still open.
But before I sign up I have a question or two:
I am a mom of two toddlers, one is actually 6 but a little delayed. Plus, my hubby and I are slowly starting a business.
I would really like to sign up but before I do, I want to make sure that I will be able to fulfill the well, responsibilities that are expected.
Which leads me to the next question.
In the adopt a newbies thang, what Is expected? What is the rough outline?

After my last thread, I just see where, if this is still available, I could benefit from the guidance of some experienced ones.

Thanks be to you

Sorry hon, I just now saw this. :)

There is no timeframe or rough guidelines to follow - you and your mentor set the pace that works best for you. The program is always open - you can sign up any time.

I hope that answers your questions!

Isn't there a better name for new people than newbies?

Possibly, however, the name of the program seemed to fit better than any other name for the purpose it is meant to suit. If you can think of better names, I'm all ears.

Well the first thought would be something silly like Turn Over a New Leaf. but it gets kinda cheesy. I'll see if I can't come up with somethign that sounds like a new student, without being too restrictive.

I have a small question... how do you adopt a "newbie/ newstudent"??

I did wonder that myself.

Check out the Mentor portion of this subforum. If you still have questions, send me a PM. :)

I'm going to try and work on these again while I am out of the office on leave... but I can't make any promises. :p I just wanted to give all of you a heads up - and we still need more people, so any new mentor/newbie recruits... send em this way!
