Has anyone ever used a set of gaming dice (i.e. roleplaying or D&D dice) for divination? My brother just bought a set and has gotten me curious. All my information regarding dice I have handy has to do with 3 6-sided standard dice.

I have never seen anything on divination with dice. And thats any dice...

Somewhere around here, there's a thread where someone posted meanings of dice combinations... hmm, now where did I put it?...

Ah well. Just thought I'd ask. Standard dice I understand, but I think the oddities of gaming dice would be an interesting study. For instance, there is a 20-sided die in the set, 12, 6, etc. I don't quite recall the whole set.
Maybe I'll get a set and figure it out on my own. If I do, I'll post my results.

Good Luck! & you should read the Dice Man (dont knwo the author sorry) its a good wierd read about a guy who lets the roll of the dice decide his choices in life :)

LMAO I've done it lots of times. Mostly I'd ask "how will my day be?" and roll. . . high was good, middle was "eh" and low was "oh crap stay in bed!" hehehe. . . also for "yes, no" answers. High, yes, low, no. Usually pretty ok, although my dice have a bad sense of humor -_-; just look at my character, for the love of goddess. She's got great stats, but 90% of the time I don't make my rolls. eh LOL
