Well I went for my twice a week nonstress test. I had enough contractions they called my midwife to my room. She checked and I am starting to soften and she can just start to get in the opening of my cervix. I am only 33 weeks today so I am now concerned. I don't think Sean is going to wait till July 31 for his induction. I think he will be here sooner. I dialated 4 centimeters with all four of my other kids but not until I was 36 weeks along and then it was gradual over a two week period. This is not good. Other than the twice a week nonstress tests we are just going to keep watching.

I am thinking about you. I have been there. Keep resting otherwise ok. Do nothing. Make those joys of your life pamper you and Sean.

Awww, heres wishing for the best. Hope he learns some patience and waits for the right time or else he's gonna be a cancer instead of a leo...

Hang in there hon and rest as much as possible. Maybe you can make a game out of it for your kids somehow... so that they let you stay sitting or laying down.
Keep us posted, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you hold out (Sean holds on!) as long as possible.

Hoping that sean holds on just a few more weeks. Dont Do anything! Rest! Let your kids know how serious it could be if they dont help. I'll be thinking of you. (((hugs)))

You need to get in bed and rest. Doing things like cleaning will just make it worse. Tell your children how serious this is, that it could hurt both you and the baby and then tell them they need to help. You've asked already, that didn't work. Now tell them. If you need to, hire someone to just come and straighten up. A teen from down the street or a friend. DONT put yourself and Sean in harm just for a clean house. Hopefully he can stay put a little bit longer. :hugz: You'll be in my thoughts hun.

You have to ask yourself; what is more important- a clean house or a healthy baby???!!!
You need to get rest, lying down, plenty of fluids og nutritious foods. Relax in a warm bath. You need to take it seriously.
Haven't you got a mother, sister, in law or friend who can come help you out?

Sadly any helpful family lives several states away. I am going to make kids help today but what really rots is the most helpful kid I have is a nine year old. :( The three teens don't want to help but I spoke to the least helpful one's girlfriend last night and she is ticked and is going to get on his case to help me :)

Gosh the prep for birth can go on for a long, long time!
I was 4 cm dialated and fully faced for 6 weeks before my son was born at 36 weeks. He was child number 5. (36 weeks is my full term).
I would take it a little easy and when 36 weeks comes along, life as normal till brthing time! :)

Well I am going slow and my nine year old is helping along with occassionally the older two boys much to their dismay. The dishes are done and the first floor finished except my youngest is sweeping the kitchen floor. When he is done he will come up and help me clean his room. By that time the older two boys will be home from getting a video at the store and will start on their rooms that leaves me the hall to sweep and the bathroom to clean. My daughter can clean her room Sunday when she gets in from my friends house. She is there to baby sit for the weekend. My oldest is going to paint the ceilings for the dining room and the second half of the living room then my soon to be exhusband can install the light in the dining room tomorrow and I can put the table lamp where it goes. Things are moving right along. I am trying to dictate where stuff goes more than do it myself. Right now I am going to finish reading then go refold all the messed up things in the linen closet since I can sit and do that. :) I just can't sit knowing all this needs to get done.
