My sister needs good wishes

A few weeks ago my sister casually mentioned that the lump in her breast was getting bigger. I freaked & insisted that she call the doctor NOW!!!!!! She wanted to wait a 'couple of months' because it was less than a year since her last mammogram & her HMO wouldn't pay for another so soon. I begged her to call her M.D. & ask for a biopsy. She said she really didn't want to know (ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!), at which point I began an intensive campaign to badger her into going to the doctor. I phoned & e-mailed her daily & threatened to tell all family & friends. It worked-she got so fed up w/ my 'meddling' that she called her clinic & was immediately scheduled for a biopsy (she goes 6 Feb.). We're both really scared (our mom died of ovarian cancer) & I'd really appreciate it if you could cross your fingers for Shellie. Thank you!

My fingers are crossed and give your sister a hug from me. My mom is going in for another Mammogram cuz they found a lump type thing in her breast as well. She found out yesturday that she was supposed to have it biopsied but the doctor neglected to tell her. Cancer *most kinds* run in our family.
