I have had pretty bad cramps on my right side tonight, that come and go. I've had some on the left side, but not as bad. Does ligament stretching really hurt this bad? I had a friend who had bad cramps and she found out she was having twins! I did dream the other night that we had twin girls. My husband told me to forget about the dream lol . It now subsided, but sometimes is just really bad. Did any of you have noticable cramping in your sides/ligament stretching?

I had REALLY REALLY bad ligament cramps / stretching with my second pregnancy.. only one baby ;) My midwife said it all depends on the body.. I had no pain with stretching with my first, and lots with my second.. *shrugs* so who knows? Healing energies that the pain doesn't last very long, and isn't too painful for you.

I'm @ 27wks and have been experienceing leg and side cramping for about a month and a half. The side cramping is getting worse all the time, I feel like a water ballon thats being filled past its capacity... Its so bad sometimes I can't sleep.
Have you tried getting a body pillow? I have one and I sleep with it between my legs and sort of underneath my belly and it helps a BUNCH, seriously I wouldn't be able to sleep without it.
Good luck!

Thanks Jessica
I want to buy a boppy pillow . I read that it's good to use as a body pillow and then after for the baby to breastfeed, and lay on as he/she gets bigger..

oh yes.. LOVE the boppy pillows. When the boys weren't in their sling, they were on my lap in the boppys LOL.. and RW loved his so much that when I was pregnant with IC, I had to buy myself a new one, cause he wouldn't give his up  I know that drinking lots of water helped my stretching pains, and low stretching exercises (low as in, not much.. but just enough). :hugz:

YES! Ligament stetching hurts like HELL!!! I've been having them at various points throughout this pregnancy. Doctor said it gets worse for some with each pregnancy...this is my 3rd and last one. I usually only suffer with it for a day, 2 at the most. It's been my way of telling when either I or Alex is having a growth spurt!!!

yea when I've had the stretching,it's only lasted for about a day or so too. I have been drinking water, and crystal light (I like something that tastes good, but also is good for me) My mother in law has gotten on me for drinking an occasional soda pop, so i've started drinking the crystal light, because I HATE the taste of diet drinks.
She's already talking about repainting hannahs room if it's a boy. half pink and half blue, but I do not want to nor should I be painting while pregnant. I told her to wait to decide what to do with the room until after we know that this baby's healthy, and what were having..
