Oh, I'll be harvesting herbs to dry and store out of my garden. I think I'll have a bonfire at night. I usually do some tarot readings for family and friends. I'll be reading some stories out of circle round to my kids. I'll also do my Litha ritual. And leave a treat out for the fairies.----shuvanilu

The hubby and I finally have a sabbat off from work - so we're happy :) We plan on having a small BBQ and bonfire. Then a small private ritual.

I was going to do hike to the tallest point in the county and watch the sunset, but we're suposed to have servere thunderstorms and hail where I am :/ And being as I don't want to be a lightning rod, I guess I'll just do something indoors. *sadness*

Oh well, we needed the rain.

I painted today, which can be spiritual for me (as it's an act of creation) and I plan on lighting some incense and reading up on the meaning of Litha.
I'm not a full ritual-er yet so I just like to remember what the holiday is all about and do some small things.

I'm spending it relaxing, and thinking about going out to eat tonight (sushi...mmmmm). This weekend, a friend is hosting a ritual and party so we'll go to that.
probably do some Tarot, make an offering of rum to the spirits, spend some time playing with my puppy and husband.

I got off work early this afternoon and went to the Solstice Festival here in Charlotte, N.C. Tom really put together a nice group of vendors. I bought myself a beautiful dragonfly necklace and chated with some old friends and made a few new ones. There is a live band and the kids were having tons of fun even the pets were enjoying themselves ! The heat got to me sso I cut my festivities short but I had planned to come home and get things ready for my ritual tonite ! :cheers:
