Seeking Gnome Information

Hello - I was just wondering if anyone had information our sources out there on Gnomes.

I have looked all over the internet for information (even pictures) of Gnomes and am coming up with everything but! I don't know, maybe I'm not typing in the right words in the search engine *shrugs*

Could some one help,please? :)

Gnomes are often hidden in Faerie lore... If you dig deep within, the gnomes should pop up. :hahugh: I have quite a few books of Faerie lore, and there's a gnome every few pages or so. Keep digging!

What sort of info are you looking for regarding gnomes?

I have a great boook on all sorts of spirits, and it has a lot of entires on different regional varities of what could be considered Gnomes. The problem with looking at information like this is that the same creatures appear under different names, but all have similar descriptions. I would try everything from Brownies, Teutonic Dwarves, Irish Gnomes, and so forth. The book Im referring to is by Carol Rose and is called : Spirits, Faeries, Goblins and Gnomes, an Encyclopedia.

some people have a 56k,im not one of them but some people do im sure :)

You may want to try searching under elementals because often they are classified as such. I don't like the association personally but its common.
