A curious dream (by my boyfriend)

My boyfriend Ian told me about a curious dream he had a few days ago, and I couldn't quite figure it out, so I figured I would ask you guys. :) Here's his description of it, cut and pasted:

i am running from something i but i don't know what it is. all i know is that i need to get away. i am in the town that my mother grew up in. i am running up to the back door of my grandmother's house. (it was hers till she died i was 10) i run threw the back door past someone on the phone and threw the place where the front door is. on my left there is a girl that reminds me of my g/f. i run threw the front door, and look back. no one has seen me. the door slams shut. i turn and see that no one has seen me. i go to the door and knock. the door opens i walk in and the girl sees me the women on the phone hangs up and walks to meet me. she is in a long flowing skirt. kind of hippish as well as the girl. she says your are welcome here. the next think i see is a small aulter. with some stones, candles, and a dagger. after seeing this i look to my left where the living room is. it is packed with women dressed in black. the odd thing is that they have name tags on there clothing its one of the "hi my name is_______". i can't read what they say. it is all in different lettering. some looks like letters some look like shapes and others i have no idea. so that is it my dream.

He seems to be having a lot of dreams like this since we got together. Not too long ago he had one where he had a long conversation with Odin :holycow:, but being his silly self, he didn't remember a bloody word of it by the time he got to me. :lol: He also found out he has a wolf spirit guide, and it was also present in the Odin dream. In the one I described he remembers actually asking where the guide was, got no reply, and it didn't show up.

Do they all connect? I am wondering what you guys think. :)

My take on it all is that he's overlooking a very aspect of his life hence the invisability.

The lady on the telephone again is this also significant of this. Trying to get a message across (perhaps you). The young girl saying "your welcome here" is indicative of this also. This person whos trying to get the message accross is someone who he wants to set a good precendece with. The "your welcome here" is a reassurance of that he doesnt need to set a good prescednece because he's home safe with this person i.e his girlfriend :)

The alter and all the women in black robes worry me a little bit, people might go up in arms about this but its usually indicative of dark feminane forces which are a part of his life (at present or past).

Usually witches in dreams are 1/2 and 1/2 can mean good can mean bad, good ones wear white robes to attract posative energy, black robes for negative.

The fact it was in his grandmothers house would mean that its indicative of his ancestery and his blood line. The fact hes in a house means its his spiritual temple or his spiritual self. The name tags identify as allowing a negative influenced or black practicer(s) "know" about his spiritual identity that may leave him vulnrable.

Interesting. :) The dark feminine forces you are referring to may be his past 2 girlfriends, especially the girl he dated before we got together, as she was very emotionally abusive to him. All in all though, it seems as though this has something to do with him questioning his own religion, as his slant of late seems to be shifting more from Catholic to agnostic. He is also expressing an interest in paganism, but he is still unsure about it. I think he is still a little uncomfortable about it because of his upbringing (being a former Baptist, I can understand this), but if he wants to get into it, I am more than happy to help him figure it all out. :) Thanks for the interpretation!
