Many greetings to all who might possibly get to see this post!

Im in England,UK and thought id pull my head up out of the earth to look around. I can see a great development moving East! I am happy to find so many people on here and I am looking for a female fire sign to match my water sign. I guess I need some spark in my magic which I am not really finding in the UK.

I am a solitary witch and want to meet other solitaries. Anyone who is interested in sharing some views and experiences as they have journeyed along their magical path would be greatly appreciated. It's really great to make friends and since Wicca is recognised in the US then I thought you might be able to tell us how it compares in the media etc..

In return for friendship I offer friendship.
In return for understanding I offer understanding.

Peace and Power my friends!
Vis.

Hey I am so very grateful for all the welocomes I have had!
I am sorry that I have been somewhat.........delayed........but thats another thing which just happens when it happens!

It is always good to know that there are friends in distant places - it's kind of a comfort to know that people are out there going through similar times despite different politics etc...

Wicca and the whole Witchcraft subject in the UK is a bit of a none starter except on the inet. There are groups that call themselves covens but there is such a lot of dogma attached to them that the BOS becomes irreplaceable, when the whole BOS is just a representation of the type of knowledge that was once held mentally. I dont know if it's the same in the US but I would hate to think that people are going out buying loads of books and tools etc.... without spending as much time just reverencing Nature AS IT IS. We are in a web - a wondeful web - and it is a living thing to which We belong. There are no rules and constitutions - there is only Love opposing Hate in all that is done.
Any spell can only be cast by one in touch with Nature - I do not mean the Solar and Lunar cycles only, nor putting leaves and flowers on the Altar - I mean by being IN TOUCH literally i.e. not skyclad (naked) but being in-love with the environment and visiting THAT altar. The exception being when it is raining and storming heavily!
This is just my response to the mass-marketting of witchcraft.
I have no intention of telling people how it is, kinda thing, I just hope that there isnt too much dogma in the Multi-Wicca-Forms that exist and will come to exist.

I count you all as equals or betters.
With power and peace
bless, bless, bless.
