View Full Version : Anglo-Saxon Cosmology and Gods...

Ok, so here are a couple of questions...

1) Did the Anglo-saxons share the same cosmology as the Norse? With the 9 realms and world tree? If they did, did they use the same names as the Norse did for everything or did they have their own? If not, what was their cosmology view?

2) The Gods and Goddesses that they honoured, were they just different names of Norse deities, or were they different Gods altogether? Like, Thunor and Thor, were they separate beings or the same God with a different name?

Just a few things I've been wondering...
I'm hoping this is the right forum...:yikess:

Check this one out also, but I like the English Heathenism site already suggested too.
