Disney here too. Of course, we are major Disney freaks here. My son is 5 and will be going on his thrid trip in May. I could live there and be so happy. My hubby and I are more of kids there thanthe kids are I think. ;)

We were supposed to go in December, but decided to postpone till May. We just booked a bunch of our dining, too. yippeee!

A very close second is anywhere in the Caribbean. I ahve only been to Antigua and Jamaica, but am hopoing to scrimp and save to go to the Bahamas for our ten year wedding anniversary next year.

Chris~ brings Mickey wherever she goes...tattooed on my ankle!

Of all the places I've been, I think I like Virginia and Minnesota the best. We've gone to VA for YEARS. My Uncle lives there, and my Dad loved going so much that he got a house down there after my Grandma had passed away, which was about 15 years ago. It's on a little island in the Bay. Close to Busch Gardens/Williamsburg and all that. I like just hanging on our beach on the Island. Nice and relaxing.

I went to Minnesota about 3 years ago. It's so pretty up there with the lakes and woods. I visited a place called Sandstone and they had the most beautiful Gorge there. I can't remember the name right now. But it was lovely. I briefly went to Minneapolis, but I didn't stay long enough to see the Mall of America or anything like that. I did make a wrong turn though, and wound up in the Metrodome's parking area. My son was impressed.

I like Disneyland, never been to DisneyWorld.

One of my favourite places to go is to B.C Canada. Its so nice there. But I used to live there so I know so many people. In the summer its so warm and its so nice to go lay around on the beach.

I'd also LOVE to go to Europe. And I might be able to go this May!! :crylaugh:

Home :)
We live in the mountains, can't see any neighbors, have a pool and hot tub, and like to listen to the creek and the birds, walk in the forest. Can't get any better than that...

I really like New Orleans. But It's not exactly the place a child can enjoy numerous times. So for family get-aways, I enjoy the mountains. I always have since I was a kid. I've always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon. Maybe I'll make it someday.

Edinburgh, Scotland
It's a great city, made for walking & exploring.
It has darn near everything I like: nice people, miles of historical stuff to see, great shopping, a big castle (I have lived in a castle...but not in this life), ghostly places, great shopping, Scotch whisky, culture, great shopping, nature nearby, bagpipe music-which I love (stop laughing!)...and did I mention shopping?
And men in kilts *sigh* I have a serious thing for any guy who looks good in a kilt.
Love the accent, too.
The only thing I'm not cool about...deep-fried candy bars. I have never stirred up enough courage to try one.

I've only been to Disney land once, and it wasn't even for a whole day 'cause it was with the school band :(

BUT on the other hand, out of the other places I've vacationed, I'd have to say San Carlos, Mexico...it's so perty down there! :D And so little worries...a great place to get away from it all...

If I would vacation anywhere it would be Melbourne Australia. Because you have the ocean to the south of you, the mountains and desert to the north, and across the ocean a little ways you've got the rain forests of Tasmania. Perfection IMO.
