Illusion in a dream - how to interpret this

I was dreaming that I was woken up during my sleep, then all of a sudden two of my housemates were in my room, and I was like.. okay let's go. Then when I went outside my room, there was a female (young, around my age (20)) in the hallway, naked. Raised one of my eyebrows :bug:

The female resembled me of quite some girls I know, however I saw none of these naked :P (the face resembled the faces of the people I know). I looked at my roommates and they did not respond to the female. Thus, I think the female in my dream was an illusion that only was visible to me. The female did not move or say anything at all, and was gone an instant later. I asked about it to my housemates and they responded that they did not see any woman naked (I asked them in the dream).

Then at another moment in the same dream, I was in the middle of a long hallway that seemed to be very narrow. I was sitting on a table typing away at my computer, when someone familiar (a guy) walked past and left the other side of the hallway. Then his whole family waved at him as if they said goodbye. One of his younger brothers (or any really young boy that happened to know the guy that walked past) came up to me sitting at my computer and asked me if I wanted to put on some Nas music. I did not listen to this music for ages, it just seemed to be a very strange request to happen in a dream. I'm also VERY positive that it was Nas.

So I have a few questions. I _NEVER_ remember any dreams, and when I dream, alot of strange symbolical stuff happens, along with alot of people doing unimaginable things.

The woman seems to be an illusion to me in a dream.
Is an illusion in a dream (an illusion at the astral) to be considered a symbol or a living thing out in the astral?

Since I lately started doing some magical persuits, could it be a goddess opening up a connection with me through this dream? If the female was a symbol, it would be (in my beliefs) a real person that I dreamed about. If it was a living thing on the astral dreaming plane (which seemed to be the case, however she did not move at all), she is some symbol in real life, thus she could be a goddess (in my beliefs, gods and goddesses are alive on the astral.. or something :P).

Can anybody give me their views on this dream and how to inpterpret it?

This dream is very symbolic, and can represent awareness of the conscious link that is us all. Observing the facial changes, on the being, is a common occurance of precieving this link.

Dreams, reality, the astral, are all illusions, that we make real, by placing our power of belief in them. Your intuition, or your knowing, told you the said person is real, and the person is as real as you and I. This dream would be an indication that your dreaming life will be picking up, and changes taking place. I would say you are recieving instruction within a layer of your dreams.

Would you mind to elaborate? What do you mean by 'receiving instruction'..

Also, I was not talking about observing the facial changes of the woman, but that in the dream, _I_ raised my eyebrows (not literally.. I was just like 'what the heck is going on with this naked woman in the hallway'). The other persons there did not notice the woman. Is she (=the woman) therefor an illusion in the dream? And what is that illusion, a symbol on the dreaming plane or a living entity?

From my take on it all the symbolision doesnt reflect that of a devine dream. Devine dreams are very raw and straight to the point. For instance I dreamt once of a large snake eating another large snake, the large snake which ate the smaller snake reflected change, the big snake was yellow, yellow indicative of astral expansion.

The fact the snake ate the smaller one means that it was time for me to discard my olderself. Snakes being important because snakes describe the cadeuses or medical symbol, which reflects the chakra chain that goes down your spine or the 2 interwining snakes which link your chakras togeather kundalini path so-to-speak ...

The fact i dont worship a diety means that I would have a more raw vision of the god like being, simply because I believe in the yin yang story of creation.

Back to your dream... The naked female would represent sexuality of which is unseen by your conscious self. The fact that your roommates could not see what was going on, again roommates, friends, mateship usually this means your being left out of something. I wouldnt be at all surprised if they know of a particular girl which likes you. See this is a common dream dynamic, reversal.

For instance, you dream about a young energetic person, most likley the person your looking for is old and crippled. You dream about being involved with people it means that you shouldnt be so close to them, or say You dream that someones invisable then that means you need to get to be closer to that person and so fourth.

The fact that this person had some "kind" of resembalance to you, i'd consider which person it most holds to your mind of who it really is, then discard the distorted aspects of the person because what your subconious is doing is playing that reversal game with the persons character.

People are saying goodbye to a familiar person by his family, and the music... Blasts from the past, also indicaidve of the female in your first dream. See usually when you walk with someone in your dream again reverse it, it means you'll go seperate ways with this person from now on. Expect someone to come into your life which you havent seen for a long time and use that type of music as a hint or signal to determine who that person is :)

Forgive me if I take a pretty different view on this than most people here, but it sounds to me more like someone was entering your dream but didn't make a real good connection before disconecting.

She (I assume the third party was a she) was probably watching the dream you were in on TV or something like that. She began to transfer into the dream. To do this you have to build a psychic connection with a host. (Someone who is curently projecting part or all of the environment they are in. ) this allows the host mind to create a vessel for the newcomer to interact with their environment.

She established a link with your mind and a body was created. Who realy cares why it was naked, maybe she was horny and thought u were alone, maybe she was thinking of a naked charecter on the TV screen she might have observed, or maybe it was a he, who was looking in a window from his perspective hoping to see a naked woman.

At any rate, the newcomer made a connection with u, the host, long enough create a naked woman, but not long enough to give her a face. (or maybe just didn't send that info for another reason. This is why your mind was uncertian what face to put on her, drawing a blank and allowing you to put whatever face u like there. (this could also be done later on in your memory, you've probably decided on 2 or 3 different girls u think she was)

Nobody else saw her because the newcommer would normaly use u as a bridge to then connect to the other experiencers of the dream world you were in. (not everyone you see walking around your dreams is a real person thats sleeping like you, but a lot are.) The newcomer never made any further connections, but instead abandoned the current connection.

The end result is were talking about another 10 mins of regular, every night, dream life. This does not mean it can't be analyzed to learn something about your psyche.

well I only looked at the first part of the dream before.

for the secound part it sounds like you were either hanging out with the kid earlier in your dreams or possibly he was thinking you were someone he was hangin out with.

It's harder to analyze your dreams if you don't remember them very often. With normal dreams I wouldn't look for symbolism, but supose it got to be a common theme that you were running from stuff in your dreams...

So if you start seeing different nacked chicks and only momentarly in your dreams, and it gets to be a pattern, you might think they're trying to get into your dreams and you keep making them naked and they keep feeling turned away. That would tell you something about yourself.

But with that kind of dream analysis you got to do it yourself to be very acccurate and learn much.

I suggest that anyone who's practicing any form of magick learn to remember their dreams on a regular basis. I suggest a dream diary, basicly a notepad or something where when u first wake up u can jot down a couple key words and or phrases. just a couple of notes so you'll remember later, and can put it into something that can act as an actual journal when u have the time. don't start writing them to long.

If you wake up and don't remember anything, Fck it. try again the next morning and decide when ur going to sleep that you want to wake up remembering ur dreams. Your mind will get the hang of it.
