i've started this reading several times, not quite sure exactly how to go about this one. perhaps its your neptune/venus conjunction in your 12th house that throws your chart to the nethersphere of reality for me.

neptune and venus are related in that neptune is the 'higher octave' of venus, so rather than having a bi-chord of two different harmonics, you have a emphasized vibration of the octave of the same harmonic. what does that mean? well, as i see it in relation to chiron in your 4th house, i would say you were an empath. you can feel peoples feelings and emotions, perhaps to the point of taking their moods and emotions and being overwhelmed by them ... sacrificing everything of you to make their situation harmonious. being an empath is a wonderful tool for that of a healer, if it is used as that: a tool.

being empathic to others, especially to the emotions of either an individual or the collective can be overwhelming, and the definition of your own personal emotions and feelings to those of others takes much discipline, self-understand and times of isolation and solitude. sacrificing your own emotional, spiritual needs to keep the peace or harmony in the environment, is not healthy for them ... and it certainly is not healthy for you. and, for you, this is personal, very personal. perhaps playing out in your most intimate relationships of your parents and into your past ancestry (which could be familial heritage or personal past life heritage). there is a deep healing that you are going to embody that relates to that past. and perhaps you play the role of the cinderella ... and are the one who picks up after everybody -- emotionally, physically and spiritually. unless, of course, you went into protection mode at a very early age and you do nothing for no one, refusing to feel anything lest they hurt you.

depending on the support given to you as a young child and your early patterning and habits, you may have been the one that was abused ... unless your southern moon node energy was very powerful and supported by someone in your family structure, and you were able to 'stop it before it ever started' and did not personally experience the abuse, you are the healing channel for your past, and the one to break a cycle of abuse ... which could be in the realm of physical, spiritual and emotional or a combination thereof.

the great thing about having to assimilate all of this energy, is your ability to use your innate and personal knowledge to heal, as that, i see, is the driving force of your chart. chiron the wounded healer and his friend pholus, both centaurs and stellar bodies that are becoming more and more understood in their role in bringing the global healing and the transition to the new age of aquarius, are the energies that stand out from the rest of your chart ... they are all alone and facing the rest of the pieces of yourself that are really quite contained, focused and integrated. the centaurs versus the gods, so to speak.

the key to the power of your chart and the balance of your well being is truly isolation. and not isolation like living on the top of a mountain (not that you couldn't benefit from long times of solitude), but because you really want deep, lasting relationships. in fact, you need those relationships to embark on your healing journey; but you need relationships with those who do not require you to care for them. you should look for relationships with those people who do not 'need' you, and if you find yourself always sacrificing yourself to 'make them happy', they are feeding your source of wounding, rather than helping you heal.

the more dedicated you are to learning on all levels of existence, the more you will understand yourself -- from the basic education in your immediate neighborhood to the most esoteric philosophies from perhaps as far as the galactic center. the more you know, the better you will be able to understand yourself, and the more you will be able to help others. you have been given a great gift that may have hurt you very much and you put it away so you wouldn't be hurt ever again ... or you know about your gift and it has been cultivated and developed within you ... or you are somewhere in the middle. but the painful side of the gift is something you will understand deeply, you will process and heal, then use your experience to heal others.

saturn is about to transit through your 8th house and will emphasize much of the past abuse, secrets and perhaps death in your life ... its transit through the 8th and 9th house (from now until you are about 28), is a wonderful time for you to consciously work on your understanding of yourself and a time i would recommend daily meditation and contemplation into your past. i would highly recommend rebirthing or past live work if you have the inclination and safe access to a healer or therapist that can help you through that journey. otherwise, use the self-healing tools of dreamwork, meditation, trance dancing or other trance/ ecstasy work; whatever you feel called to; although i would suggest that you NOT undertake any 'medicative' therapy, as that could lead to a bigger problem than it would solve. and if you are finding yourself medicating to deal with life, i would highly suggest a time of solitude and self-reflection rather than avoidance ... whatever happened happened ... whether it happened to you in this life or in the past, this is a great time to complete the healing so you transcend and become the healer rather than the wounded one.

completing your first saturn cycle with this kind of in-depth work on yourself would be the greatest gift you could give to your future self, and your relationships will benefit greatly, as well as your chosen profession. if your life is moving positively, you are likely aware of all that i have said, and this time of self-focus will only bring you to a greater depth of understanding yourself, which is the ultimate answer of universe ... "know thyself."

deny ... i'm a virgo/leo; i was just amazed by your chart, you had so many focused signatures ... with the aquarian and pisces age overlapping at the moment, you never know which of the energy a particular person is attached to, but all i felt was the age of aquarius and the potential of this new epoch flowing through your chart; and i felt all the pain from the age of pisces.

you've got some very interesting things going on in the next year ... most importantly, your saturn return. the saturn return is significant because it is the end of the cycle of your life on earth ... every thing you are here to experience, you have experienced and then the next cycle will be the same thing, only at a deeper level, with the experience of the previous cycle(s) to educate you.

it is a great time to journal a biography of sorts ... writing down all the significant events you can remember from your life up until this point ... if you wrote in diaries, going through them and picking out things you thought were significant, people who impacted you and why, experiences that shaped who you are. go through a period of 'reliving' your childhood experiences and relationships, remember names if you can and write them down. you will usually see the pattern of names reemerging in your next saturn cycle.

as well, going through and writing down 'regrets' and 'if i had to do it all over again, i would have ...' is also a very helpful tool for your next stage in life. because, you will do it all over again, only in different circumstances and usually, more at stake. with those, try to, in your memories, understand why you made the choice you regretted or wish you didn't make. *** please note, there is a big difference in "why" you did (or didn't do) something and the "excuse" for why you did (or didn't do) something. the more connected you are to the 'why' and not to the excuse, the more you will learn about yourself.

i would highly recommend you undertake this significant personal work as saturn is one of your 'major' planetary signatures, as it rules your ascendent.

yes, relationships are very significant to you ... the 7th house relates to 'others' and while other houses relate to specific relationships (like the 3rd relates to siblings), the 7th house refers to all close and intimate relationships. your sun, saturn and mercury sit in your 7th house.

so, obviously, your saturn return is going to focus on your relationships. i have found that often (and perhaps one of the more seasoned astrologers on the forum can elaborate on this), people meet their significant others during or just after the saturn return. i attach the reason to this as being at the moment of birth, you entered into your first external intimate relationship with a being separate from you (e.g., your mom and dad), and thus, the beginning of a new intimate relationship shouldn't be too surprising if it happens the second time around as well.

i am sure there are other aspects a more traditional astrologer can help you with in determining timing, etc., i have limited experience in that type of reading of the chart, so my advice is a bit limited in that arena.

the main thing i see that influences your relationships is that your 7th house contains an 'intercepted' sign, being leo, AND the ruler of that sign, the sun, as well as saturn and mercury are found within that intercepted sign.

what this means, is that all of those planets and all of the energy they represent are locked up in a closet in a room in your house. not only do you have to first go into the room to have the experiences (in your case, relationships), but all of your planetary energy are in a closet in that room. do you even know that? i am sure you probably feel it, but are unable to figure out what is going on with relationships.

well, first you have to get into the room, through the energy of cancer and the descendent. the key for the ascendent/descendent horizon is "exchange with the environment" (thank you rob hand!) ... the ascendent is how you express yourself to the world (and its response thereto) ... and the descendent how you receive your experiences with the world (and your response thereto). the complication comes in your response to that exerience in terms of relationships; just as how your expression is responded to your environment relates to your self identity. (now your specific questions make a lot of sense, doesn't it !!!)

likely, you were always told 'why do you have to do things THAT way?' and quite possibly, because you were afraid you were not doing it the 'right' way, you modified yourself to fit expectations. well ... this is probably the biggest key for you to truly know yourself and to have good intimate relationships. you need to do things YOUR way ... as unorthodox or unusual that may be. it may mean taking the heat and criticism (which absolutely defeats your spirit).

you are SUPPOSED to do things differently than everyone else ... that's the only way you are ever going to truly know yourself. if you are in an environment that always criticizes your way of doing things, its time to move and build-up some distance and find people and places (e.g., work) where the way you do things is encouraged and supported.

if i was going to give you rules to live by ....

in a job: 'You don't like how i do things, that's cool. I guess you do not need ME.' and likely because you ARE the most competent person around, and they will shut up and let you do it your way; and then you control your destiny there. (after all, any one can do things some other person's way ... only YOU can do it YOUR way.)

in a relationship: 'I need to change how I do things for you? right ... bye, bye.' because you do not need a relationship that doesn't cherish and support your unique way of going through life. that is the key to your success in life. life can be hard enough, you REALLY do not need any intimate love relationship that is going to do anything but help you succeed in life.

it is absolutely critical for you to do things how you think they should be done and not how you think others think (or how others tell you) things should be done. that's your life's challenge. until you have developed a system of discernment when it comes to criticism, use a dismissive attitude toward those who criticize you and do not let them close to you. you will always listen to the criticism ... but use it as a tool, not as a way to beat yourself up. some criticism can actually be helpful, most is not.

In my life so far I was always trying to be like others but somehow i couldn't succeed and that was making me miserable. Meanwhile i felt that i was right in thinking other way and seeing things differently. By the way i am a painter and kind of too creative (haha)in every area i'd concentrate on...so you can imagine how i'd feel trying to be just like everyone else and suppress my inner voice! awful! I also invent things and thoughts all the time, have a lot of dreams that foretell...I guess i just have to accept that i am different and on some higher level perhaps and submit to it.
