:boing: Saving The Dolphins Dear Sir or Madam, I am sure you are aware that still in some parts of the world Dolphins andWhales are still being hunted for food. As with most Western countries thisact has been outlawed in our waters, and many conservation projects are inforce at present to try and protect these wonderful creatures. However I feel I must bring a truth to your attention, Dolphins have anintelligence, which is comparable to ours, they have personality andcharacter, there are pretty much humans with fins! They need your help, there is an annual slaughter of many types of Dolphinsand Whales by the PRO WHALING nations, this alone still disgusts me as I amsure it disgusts you too. But look at these links, what is happening in a remote fishing village insouthern JAPAN is truly shocking. http://www.earthisland.org/saveTaijiDolphins/ (http://www.earthisland.org/saveTaijiDolphins/)http://www.bornfree.org.uk/dolphin/dolphin.shtml (http://www.bornfree.org.uk/dolphin/dolphin.shtml) Please Help Richard Johnston Supporter: GreenpeaceW.D.C.S (Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society)WWF (World Wild Life Fund)Born Free FoundationOxfamAmnesty International

Hmm. Another post regarding the dolphins and this one is soliciting for money. Not you, but the website.
Be aware , folks. Be wary.

I think the choice to donate money or not belong to the individual.
But I don't see anything wrong with spreading an awareness and concern for environmental or animal rights issues.
If anything; educating people and sharing an appreciation for the world around them, can only enhance the environment they now live in, consisting of shopping malls and coffee shops.
I'll add this site to the links on my web site

Lyra, the skepticism arises not because someone wants to join MW and discuss environmental issues (there are many such threads throughout the boards here), but because someone posts only three posts, and all three are the same identical cut-and-pasted post.
