View Full Version : 20 wk ultrasound and it is a........

I had my 20 week ultrasound today. Things are looking great!! The baby looks great, no abnormal growths, organs, legs/arms are all on track. Got some great ultrasound pictures..I love them!! And we found out it is a BOY!!!!!!!!!!
We are very excited!!!! His name will be Liam Anthony. They estimate the baby weight at 12 oz..which is on track....
Ellie is not too excited about it being a boy..she had her heart set on it being a girl..we will have to work on that one.

Ohhh thanks sooo much everyone!!!
My mom cried a bit when I called and everyone else is just excited!!!
We were both hoping for a boy as my hubby is the last one with the family name..the big joke was we were to keep having babies until wehad a boy..this maybe our last..now....what do I do with all of Ellies girls clothes haha!!!
Liam is to pay homage to our Irish ancestors..Anthony is a family tradition to have the first born son take the fathers first name. Our daughter's name pays homage to our Scandinavian ancestors...
Again....thanks for all the well wishes..now lets just hope the US tech was right!!

Congrats chesna! :) I go for an us july 3rd, just to make sure everythings going well. Then at 20 weeks.. Everyone seems to think i'm going to have a boy too..we'll see :) Good Luck and I hope the US tech wasnt wrong! Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy! :)

They'll fly by. :) I can't believe I've only got 7 weeks left till my due date... :awilly:
Plus, now you get to buy all that cute blue and green stuff.... :hehehehe:

And yes, the weeks will past by fast. But enjoy them while you can. I can't believe I have about 4 weeks left.
