OK, I just finished a reading about the status & outcome of the relationship between me and my new b/f. Any takers on what it means when the Magician lands in the "Outcome" position? I also would appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback from what I have so far.

(All cards landed upright btw).

How I perceive Travis - Kind of Wands Travis is very noble, adventerous, ambitious, passionate, tempermental - just an all-around fiery kind of guy so this card definitely fits him.

Randomly Chosen Card - the Lovers Basically, this is what we are right now.

Challenges - the Fool We've both behaved foolishly, sometimes downright dangerously. Romantic love can do that to you. (I won't mention some of the things we've done, besides drive recklessly).

How Travis Perceives Me - Justice I dunno about this one. Trav is a bad boy and has an inherent dislike for law enforcement. However, this could also mean that he perceives me to be a very fair and ethical person.

Outcome of this Relationship - the Magician Any takers?

Current Status of Relationship in Travis' Eyes - 4 of Swords Recently, he's taken a physically demanding - 12 hr shift/7 day a week job. This resulted us just now talking with each other instead of seeing each other, and maybe some much needed time to sort things out.

Current Status of Relationship in My Eyes Basically, I've begun grieving, but for no reason. We talk to each other almost every opportunity we get, and after his seasonal job ends, we'll be back where we were. He's just too tired for *any* sort of socialization with *anyone* when he gets home.

Motive Behind Him Sometimes Being a Complete Jerk - 5 of Cups Basically, he messed up his life by making some wrong decisions. ex. He lost a scholarship to Oxford after breaking the law. Now, he sees himself as a loser and is very bitter about it.

i am not familiar with this spread, it has a lot to do with perception. (btw, you forgot the card in 'current status in my eyes'). interesting spread though.

these are my comments ...

the fool is anything but foolish. as the key to the entire tarot, the fool card is less about being foolish and more about being in the moment. the reason the fool can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants to, is because at that moment in time, he is doing what he wants when he wants. ... definitely a challenge for most people!

the justice card is representative of a coming into consciousness. it is a movement to assuming the personal responsibility that comes with having freedom. the justice card also connotes that this is the thing you've been waiting for, and it is happening. "the justice card means you can tune into the 'rightness' of your situation if you make the effort to understand it fully."

the king of wands ... in the mother peace, the king of wands is positive male power that comes from a matriarchial lineage. he is always ready to listen and to explain himself and interact with others. the kind of man to have behind any woman on the goddess path.

magician ... as an outcome ... fun. a relationship that inspires one another to act and go out and 'do your thing.' basically, you awaken each other.

4 of swords ... you nailed it. encourage his rest and restoration of inner balance.

5 of cups ... going through emotions ... perhaps why the 4 of swords. encourage him. if he was accepted to oxford, he's got some stuff going on in the grey matter and his mistakes are eating him up alive. remind him, 'you did it once, you can do it again.' up level your consciousness and always be positive. when things are negative, go deep and find the positive flow of the universe amongst the circumstances. while he needs to be alone, he needs you to raise the consciousness for the two of you. work on your stuff ... whatever it is that puts you in a positive, powerful space ... while you are 'waiting' for him.

see how he responds ... either he wants to do this or he doesn't ... it will have nothing really to do with you, but more about himself and his feeling of worth. but the cards are promising for your relationship if you can learn how to manage the rough times with positive action (again, magician at work!).

Oops! I forgot the "Current Status of Relationship in My Eyes" was the 3 of Swords. (To put it simply, I'm very scared of having my heart broken).

i always see the 3 of swords as

living consciously: the death of the part of your mental processes no longer serving you or the overcoming of a disempowering habit;

living unconsciously: the death of your desire because you choose to retain the old habit or pattern in lieu of growing.
