This article has alot to do with history of the iroquois nation, but it also speaks alot of the importance, and beliefs surrounding dreamwork, and the spirituality of the Iroquois peoples. So..i thought I would post it here.

Did you know Mohawk means "cannibal" (that's the tribe of Iroquois I'm descended from)?

If you scroll down to the end you'll see that page also has many many links to Iroquois myths, stories, symbolism, and other related links to religion, as well as books.

yep...i did know that! Since I'm part Mohawk, too. My Grandmother told me that when I was very young. Scared the crap outta me then. lol.

yeah..it's a pretty good article, and a great resource :)

That was really interesting! I just skimmed through it but am going back later to read it more thoroughly. I like that it has links for more information.
