coinciding with diamonds

I was wondering, since my fiance is going to be buying me a ring with a nice rock, i was wondering if it's bad to put a different gem on the band, like a diamond with two saphire or emeralds on each side? is it ok to mix the properties of the two stones, or not? all imput appreciated!!

Nothing wrong with mixing stones... people have been doing it for thousands of years in one form or another. For many it creates a powerful tool in thier life. I know many people who have had fabulous pieces of jewelry created for themselves which contain 3 or more cut stones as well as 2 or more metals which comprise the band. Remember to take into account the properties of the metal of the ring as well be it silver, gold or whatever.

Also, if at all possible, if you can get your hands on the cut gemstones before hand and cleanse them individually as well as work a bit with each individually before-hand it allows the energies of the ring to be a lot more structured in the opinions of some.
