Goodness, is there anything that will help?

I eat small meals and will try not to talk and eat slowly so as not to swallow air. And I'll give up soda as that makes it worse. I gave up coffee too because HO-LY did it make the morning sickness worse. I don't eat any of the common foods that produce gas and bloating, and I don't add salt to anything I eat.

Ginger tea maybe? Peppermint? I found relaxing in a hot bath helped and I feel a little better having sat here in loose clothes sipping fruit juice for awhile. Even my stretchy comfy yoga pants are completely unbearable!

Ugh.

Sipping tea or even water has seemed to help me. Munch on crackers. definitely eat small meals. I've pretty much done everything you said. I cant drink coffee either,as it also makes my morning sickness worse. I remember with hannah, ANYTHING I ate didnt stay down. even JELLO. Hang in there, you'll feel better before you know it! im 11 weeks 1 day pregnant and just starting to feel better, although I still cant eat lg meals and do get nausea here and there.. I wish you lots of luck.. How far along are you?

Thanks, just 6 1/2 weeks so far. It's funny, I've had morning sickness a couple days but the bloating is what's been really bad!

Talk to your doctor about that and see if you can take a acid reducer, like gas x. My doctor told me it was safe to take, but it's always good to double check before taking anything. :)

Bloating is very common in early pregnancy, due to the increased bloodflow. You need to eat "rough", that is,
avoid refined products like white bread etc and instead
go for whole-meal and fiberrich products.
Plenty of fluids- at least 8 large glasses of water a day, you can squeeze a little lemon juice in there to add taste.
Flaxseed- 2 tsp. with a large glass of water also helps.
Sipping peppermint tea throughout the day.
Exercise- walking, swimming or even some basic stretching.
