What's your favorite area/s of your home?

Is there an area of your home that is your favorite? Do you have more than one favorite area or room? Where do you retreat to for that homey, cozy feeling?

For me my favorites are ofcourse the livingroom, kitchen & master bedroom. I love the enegry flowing in those rooms. But I always choose our master bedroom to relax in, it's the only room I can keep spotless and full of candles since the kids aren't allowed in there & it's quieter.

Aside from the kitchen? :lol: My house is set up a bit weird and between the living room and the bedroom there is a long, somewhat narrow room. I call it the "meditation room", it's got a huge bookshelf and desk combo (my altar is the desk part), a huge trunk with my witchy supplies and small shelving things with herbs in jars on it. I love the space and I try to spend alot of time there. I do 95% of my rituals and spellwork there, the other 5% I do outside.

Oh and the room has 2 windows on opposite sides of the room and I get awesome breezes.

I love my living room. I dont know why but it feels very balanced to me. The furniture looks like its where it should be away from windows and doors.. but in the other rooms the furniture only has certain spots to put it so it doesnt feel right to me.. fen shui i guess.. hmm. :hmmmmm:

My favorite area is the deck. I like to sit outside just watching nature in ah........I like eating breastfast there hearing the birds in the morning watching the sun hit the flowers with dew on them. During the day when the kids are playing just listening to them laugh it's like watching energy get soaked up by the air. My favorite of all times is night, watching the sun set hearing all the peepers out seeing fireflies.

Other then that the bathroom soaking in the tub just relaxing and centering myself.

my practicing room, all my "work" is done there its very comfy in there at least to me and it has its own entrance to and from the back yard which is my favorite outdoor place to be with my deck, my pond and my gardens I just love it

My fav room is my sunroom, especially in the afternoon. It's what sold me on this house 2yrs ago. It faces west and when the sun is going down it has such a peaceful feel to it. Right now it's not much to look at but I'll rectify that when finances allow....

Our bedroom is my favorite room. The walls are a dark wine color and it's so cozy and just feels good... Come to think of it, it's the only room in my house that I'm smitten with. Although I do love my home as a whole.

I guess my living room, with the kitchen a close second. With my favorite altar, the piano, the bookcase where I keep most of my reference material, and with the hutch full of my *stuff*, it's very much my room, and it's where I do most of my indoor late night meditation and ritual.

The third floor of my house cause this is my private place ....just for me, On the 3rd floor i have my bedroom, bathroom and studio where i sit and meditate and practice all i have learned.

The attic, which was converted to a bedroom and office area years ago. We live with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend at the moment, so it's the only place I can go to truly be alone, have privacy and have "me" time or meditate or whatever strikes my fancy. I tend to prefer my time alone to time spent with people, so it's my favorite area.

My bedroom - definitely. I have all the objects from my travels (and my family's travels) in there. Not to mention my lovely black furniture and my altar.

My favourite would be the kicthen... however in the plave we're renting the kicthen is build badly and is small and crampy.

My favourite room in this house is my meditation/altar/healing/massage room. It is always spotless and just has a beautiful calming ambience. I have a fold-away massage table in there, my small altar of candles, stones and shells in the corner where I meditate, a build in closet where I keep some shoes and extra clothes/coats as well as shoeboxes full of candles, and witchy bits and pieces for spell work, my yoga/meditation CDs and also some of my witchy books and binder-of-shadows :P

Hmm, favorite room would have to be the backyard. Or if that doesn't count then my bedroom.

I don't have a favourite room.

I love my spiritual room, but I can't spend all my time in there.

I love my bedroom as my sleep and dreams is one of my loves, and my altar is there.

I love my bathroom to take cleansing and relaxing showers and baths.

I love my balcony to enjoy the herbs and the sunshine and dinners overlooking the view.

My kitchen, well I love to make food (sometimes) but I really dislike cleaning it and doing dishes all the time.

My living room, it's fine. I just get so sick of tv.

Overall, after thinking about it, I'd have to say my bedroom is favourite - when it's clean, and my spiritual room to do yoga, reiki, etc.

I like being in the basement. The whole area pretty much is mine :) but I LOVE to be outside running around in the backyard at night.

Our apartment has a loft/open floor plan so the kitchen/living room/dining room are not separated by walls. I really love this entire space, of course its 2/3 of our apartment LOL.

The sauna room because I can go in there and not turn the sauna on and sit in a nice little cedar room and meditate. It is also good when it is on as well.
