Do you do any sort of mental training to help your rituals, magic ect? I believe the mind is a huge part of it and ritual is the icing. I know when I'm in the right place I can feel it when I think it, and it happens. But a big part is setting up, aiming and firing.
So do you do any sort of mental training in relation to magic? Meditation Im sure will come up a lot.

Creative visualization like crazy. I've never been good at the "quiet your mind" kind of meditation; my mind is the quintessential jabbering monkey. So I figure, hey, might as well put all that manic energy to good use!

A term i prefer to describe the practice of Zen
would be "simplisticly complex",it is the ONE
decipline that focuses on Mental Training.

of deciplines to practice to see if it's something you'd

I like to do some breathing exercises. Try breathing in slowly till the count of six, hold for three, and breath out for six. Also When try to gather universal energy I find it helpful to think of myself as a hollow flute filling with energy.

Breathing, meditation, discipline... I do yoga positions and hold for as long as possible, I do what could be termed "dancing yoga" where I move to the music through different yoga positions in a constant slow flow while concentrating on breathing and visualisation, visualised meditation for chakra cleansing, grounding and centering and trying to focus on singular items for extended periods of time

Meditation :), creative visualization, and "opening" (an opening of the mind I do, something receptive in nature).

Calming the mind, breathing correctly, and visualization are all things I practice to help with meditations and triggering non drug induced altered states of conciousness.
That's about all I have to practice. This is mainly because I'm so ADD, and life is so fast paced that calming the mind is a most difficult task to achieve. It seems we can all relate in this area. :p

You don't lol, you listen to music and move from one yoga move to another in a slow rythm and don't stop  you look a bit weird but it feels good just make sure its slow steady music or you'll hurt yourself, just go with the flow

Meditation (of course) and what CelticMoon has called "dancing yoga" (I like the term, may I use it??) but without much visualisation.
I also practice energy manipulation and basic pisonics to keep my brain muscle "toned".

Not any more, unless I'm learning something new. I don't see meditation as training, though.
