hi, looking at your chart, its beautiful. perhaps the first thing i would point out is that its all about you ... everything in your life isn't about creating something to create something, but creating or doing something for the growth and journey you experience. similarly, what you give, and your desire is to give A LOT, comes from deep within you and one of the only things that give you true pleasure. you are forever the helping hand and likely the rock in your family, heralding likely a strong matriarchial lineage ... one which you are keen to take up and carry on.

however, some people may take issues with what you have to say. you are not shy about transformation, but, especially in your earlier years, were affected by the value of your 'way' (which was likely very independent and unique, if not shocking to most) by others. they did not value you and that may have hurt your value of yourself; however, you probably often put up the 'devil may care' or 'you can't hurt me' front and rebelled ... and if you didn't you really, really, really wanted to, but 'they' won, and you went into a shell. hopefully, you had great parents, and they didn't do that and allowed you to be yourself and you have been developing your uniqueness since you were young.

saturn retrograde in the 8th house tough one (that i share with you), its a personal challenge in particular to you because it opposes jupiter who is trying to expand in your realm of self worth and value. but saturn's opposition has an *advantage*. i say *advantage* because it only is until you take the advantage away. with the retrograde outer planets, you are separated from yourself, and the world (or "others") is in between you and another part of you. its kind of like having a person telling you about you from their perspective ... only the 'person' is everyone and all your circumstances AND, likely, since they are closer than that other part of you to your center, you listen to them first and then everything the other part of you wanted to say is jaded by their opinion. (there is a bit more of a dialogue on the 8th house retrograde saturn on a recent tread, i suggest reading and it may give you a bit more information as well).

taking that advantage away, you can listen to what the world says, and say, 'thanks for the information' ... then go and get the other part of you and discuss what they said. then you can use the world's information, put it together with your knowledge of yourself and 'skip the monoliths' (or 'leap tall buildings with a single bound') and find your way around the world's structures, wants, expectations with your own way of being.

another down side of the saturn(rx) in the 8th house is the number can do on you and your abilities. you are likely extraordinarily competent in everything you do, and highly creative, however saturn(rx) in the 8th makes it seem like everyone in the world is way more talented than you, they have way more resources and money than you, so why should you even bother. hopefully you don't live with that downside of that placement (and with uranus in your 1st house), i don't feel like you naturally would.

but your motivation for doing anything .... chiron in your 7th house so you want to have great relationships and help people, and you have pluto conjunct your ascendent so you want to change the world, and you want to do all you can do to make the world better.

what is perhaps critical to remember is you are changing the world just by being yourself. just the way you are in the world is changing people. so, while you have a strong drive to help heal everyone, take care of them and help them through their dark times, your most effective way of helping them is through your own personal transformation and living the words you speak, the ideas you know to be true and caring for your own soul's development. sex is likely a big part of your own personal healing, and death is likely a major instrument of your development. these two areas are both very deep and personal, and with you its taken a bit deeper than the average bear. those are areas in life where you cannot afford to be afraid (or be afraid, but you cannot afford to let that stop you). your creativity will come in handy in exploring those areas until you have come to a place where you can take them on in direct consciousness.

if it is not already, one of your new favorite words should be "no." no explanation required, just "no." and, it is not the 'no' of the rebel ... although you have that 'no' in you as well, that 'no' comes out of a reaction to what is going on ... this "no" is in response to your own needs, which get pushed aside way too often. 'no' to sex that doesn't do it for you; 'no' to the co-worker that cannot do their job without you; 'no' to your family and their needs that they should be taking care of themselves ....

'no' may be a hard word for you to say coming from a place of power ... as opposed to the 'no' you fight with when you are cornered or see something very wrong in your world around you (e.g., the abused child or kitten). but the 'no' you need to say almost more for them than for you, because you can and will give all of yourself; but something to consider is whether they will truly benefit from you doing everything for them. sometimes the world has to learn the hard way.

one way you can tell if you are giving when you should not is check your emotional and physical energy. if you have the thought or feeling, 'they should be doing this, not me' or 'why am i doing this, again?' or you are physically tired, that is when you are giving out of balance. your service and giving should be done with discrimination and allow your emotions and body help you learn to discriminate when it is your time to give.

you have your sun, neptune & venus in your third house, i am curious to know if you are a teacher or involved with the development of children or youth? or perhaps you cared for your siblings when you were growing up?

anyway, in general, that's what i see initially, if you have something specifically to look at, let me know.

Thanks so much, it's lovely. A lot of it makes sense. Although, I don't really understand some of what I gather is general terminology, ie retrograde, "house" numbers, etc. _inabox_ I think I'll go googling. LOL

I don't teach and I don't have any siblings and honestly I've never been very good with 'the small people.' I'm obviously better at it now as I have two kids that I think are doing pretty darn well in my care. :D

Thanks again for taking the time, I appreciate it.

... so you do teach !!!! the best way, mom's way. felt some kids somewhere. awesome.

retrograde is a common thing for most of our planets to do ... when mercury or venus goes retrograde, they have a very strong affect on how we affect the earth and the things around us ... e.g., when mercury is retrograde you can frizz out your computer, your car, your relationships as everything having to do with communication, mobility, and other things that 'mercury' represents is supercharged with your energy and how it affects the world around you. when all the planets on the other side of the earth go retrograde or are retrograde in a natal, they are 'on the dark side of the earth' so to speak so when your sun (or your self) wants to integrate or communicate with another part of its self (like say, your structure or boundaries represented by the planet saturn), the earth (or that which is around you ... other people, principles, energies, things of the earth outside of yourself) are between the pieces of you.

retrograde is a pretty obtuse nuance, yet its presence is one of the most prevalent unconscious 'trips' that keep you "unconnected" from your complete self repeating habits and patterns for unknown reasons.

the houses ... there are many goods sites on the houses and the areas of life they represent. if you need some directions, just ask.

have a great week.
