Tarot Reading

I'm pretty new with tarot cards and I was wondering if someone could give me a reading. I've recently made some pretty drastic changes in my life. I just moved out from California to New York. Basically to start something new, and move on in my life. I'm just learning right now how to use tarot cards and I've tried doing a reading on myself but I still don't understand much about what the cards mean.

I drew three cards for you in the Past, Present, Future spread.

Past~Knight of Swords: This fellow shows that he takes action before he thinks things thru. He's a hero on a mission on a swift and steady steed. Swift actions and changes come with this card. I would take this relate to your recent move. Although the actions have been quick, you still have control.

Present~The Emperor: This is another control card. He is the authority. This man makes all the decisions although he counts on the advice of others. He may rule with a firm hand, but he also does so with a warm heart. Remember, being at the top can get pretty lonely. This would represent you or your current situation.

Future~Five of Pentacles: This card is one of working your way out of a slump. Money may get tight, but you can certainly work your way out of it. You may feel at times you barely have a leg to stand on, but you can and will make it through any trying times.

I also have a question:)

If I were to give someone a reading, like you just gave me. Obviously I just pick the cards myself. But do you have to have that person in your mind while you are selecting them? Or be thinking about a question they may have:confused:

I know it may sound dumb me asking, but I just have no idea, lol

In my opinion, there is NO SUCH THING as a stupid question. :sunny:

When I did your reading, I looked at your name, focused on the city/area you lived, and the question(s) you had asked (basically, your entire post) while I was shuffling and cutting the deck. Then I just draw off the top cards into the spread I predetermined I would use for the reading. :D Sometimes, you can just picture the person in your mind if you know them, or some like to know their Sun Sign (my sign is Virgo for example). Just do what feels right for you! If you feel it doesn't work for you, experiment with other ways. :D
