STRESS MEDITATION
Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Your a rose bud, perfect, flawless but closed to the world.
You are filled with stress, let all that is bothering you come to mind. Hate, anger, daily stresses.
Then the bud begins to open and all the stress, hate, anger is released.
See yourself open and free. Relaxed as your stress floats away.
When you have tried this meditation share your experience:
* Were you able to visualize?
* Could you fill the stress built up inside you and then get released?
* Did you feel open free and relaxed in the end?
* What difficulties did you have?

* Were you able to visualize?
Yes, I could see my rose and it was a blood red. I had trouble visualizing the bottum of the rose, where I sat, I kept seeing yellow. Everything else was really accurate.
* Could you fill the stress built up inside you and then get released?
It took a few tries of me conjuring everything up, but after I'd gotten it all I did feel it, it felt like a really large portion of water just about to burst. When it opened I did feel the stress go, but it was hard to let it at first.
* Did you feel open free and relaxed in the end?
I felt very calm, I breathed easier.
* What difficulties did you have?
Letting it go was hard and also imagining the bottum of the rose.

* Were you able to visualize?
To an extent, yes, but nothing earth shattering. It was more tactile than visual actually.
* Could you fill the stress built up inside you and then get released?
Yes, but again, it was nothing earth shattering. I had a hard time getting in to it (pun intended ;) ).
* Did you feel open free and relaxed in the end?
Open, yes - relaxed, somewhat - free, not really. I mean, all the stressors were waiting for me, weren't they? <heh>
* What difficulties did you have?
I had a hard time *seeing* what was going on. I could feel the stress build up; I could feel the buds opening and curling out and over to let all the stress roll off. But then I had a hard time maintaining that feeling because as soon as I stopped meditating, the "real" world kinda rushed in at me.
Man, am I rusty. :ugh:

Ok.....I started, let everything gather steam till it filled this beautiful, rosy, kinda mauve rose....(Actually did it faster than I thought I would be able to!)
I didnt have much time before the critters snapped me out, but when it "Bloomed" I really felt quite a relaxation! I like this!
Think I will incorporate it with my reg. one's I had originally learned and have been doing all along...
it really went good. Gonna do some more even when this week is up...Brightest Blessings

Your responces went very well. The first time around at trying a new meditation always has some set backs so if it didn't go quite how you planned that's fine. Is there anything you think you should do differently to enhance your meditation out come?

I was going to change the flower type to something that was easier to vizualize, but I love roses so I kept working at it until I got it right- and looking at real-life roses made me learn more about my favorite flower and relieve stress at the same time. ^^
