In need of serendipity

Hello everyone. As I've said in a previous post, the last few months have been very hard on me. My mind has been going crazy, and I've been suffering from anxiety and depression, and I'm not sure what to do or where to go. This is what prompted me to look for God, in whatever way, shape or form He exists, and it also prompted me to go into metaphysics.

As a former skeptic, it is very hard for me to have faith in magic, spirituality and the like when I've never seen anything. But I NEED to believe in something, I NEED to know that there is something out there besides just what I can see with my eyes, and I don't know what to do.

Would it be wrong to request that someone who reads this please send me a sign of some sorts? I feel bad asking, and there are many who would think it arrogant and unfaithful of me, but I can think of no other way. Can someone please send me a mental message, an image, a feeling, or some kind of sign to please help me believe that I'm on the right track and that there is another, greater world out there?

it seems if magic is going to fail it is when we ask for signs and the like. Try asking your guides or god for a sign of how to get like on better track, or something. signs usually aren't big. they are like the radio song that sings about just moving on, when you are having a bad day, or a quote from a book that falls open when you bump it. look for the coincidence in the day.

Then know even when you have this proof you will probably still doubt, unless it doesn't take much to bring you around.

maybe get a tarot reading from someone. I've had moments where what they said was absolutely right, but it is with the mind to say they only got it right b/c or it was so vague that... etc. etc. but maybe it will help.

sorry for the pessism, but its just I've found that you just have to keep trying to stay optimistic cause no matter how many signs its all in the heart.

I can really feel your anguish, buddy. The kind of sign your asking for is a two way street. It requires receptivity on your part. I don't just mean an open mind, I mean an open channel. Unless you just have it, or have cultivated it with practice and instruction, I don't believe it will be possible (especially through the internet).

I can't divine what your true highest need is, Kahlil, but I would bet money that it is not to gain proof. A very wise Muslim friend of mine recently said this to me:

"Never chase anything in life, because it will only lead to suffering. Let it come to you in its own way."

There is one thing that I can prove to you right now. The divine energy is flowing through you. If it wasn't, you would not be alive. (by the way, another word of divine energy is Life Force)

For some reason, as I said my prayer, I got a vision(if you'll call it that) of a black-eyed susan flower blooming. You'll eventually find your path to happiness.

I try to have faith in that life force. Today I lit some incense and a candle, and made an offering to the good spirits of the Universe and the Most Hi. I asked simply to be cured, so that I can live my life at 100%, the life I was born to live. I asked to grow strong spiritually so that I could be happy and be something good in the lives of others. After that I tried meditating, and actually went pretty deep. I visualized my brain, and imagined all the impurities being burned away. I don't know if I made myself think it or if I actually did it, but when I was trying to create a thoughtform ball, I actually kinda felt that it was more "solid" then when I usually try. Do these things lose power by sharing them with other people?

Either way, you have no idea how much it means to me that you would go through the effort to pray for me. Thank you all so much, I've never been to a community of such kind people. I'll keep you all posted.

Don't you feel just the opposite as you reach out to this community? You are gaining as you connect! At the risk of sounding cheesy (a risk I frequently take!) a drop of water all by itself is only a drop of water, but I drop of water in the ocean IS the ocean.

The deeper you get into a meditative (superconscious) state the closer these 2 actions get: Thinking it and Doing it.
