chimmely sweep.

Hi all,
I keep having this dream where a chimmely sweep ( is that spelt correctly?)
is chasing me, he appears to be around every corner and at the end of every street. I do not have on open fire place in my home so I have no need of a chimmely sweep.
if anyone knows what this means that would be great,

dream interpretation is not my forte'. however...

i was a chimney sweep for four years back in the 70's and 80's, and i got to know a bit of the lore.
to kiss a chimney sweep is considered good luck, and in some European customs a chimney sweep would present a pig to a couple on their wedding day as a symbol of luck and prosperity.
and on a more practical side, keeping your chimney clean is a safety feature which can prevent a chimney fires which can burn your house down.

so...

perhaps your running away represents a fear of success. perhaps you are afraid of something positive, but which you consciously don't perceive as such.
it could also be that you are flirting with danger but are consciously ignoring this fact, maybe because the course of action you are on is fun or feels good.
