Did you go to the doctor on Monday like you said? Did the docs give you something?

A doctor should have given you something. My guess is you didn't go. You know there is jack diddly we can do for you if you won't listen to us. You really need to see a dr if there is something really wrong you could wind up masking the symptoms and we could lose a good member of this community. You are asking these questions in a community of people who actually care and get very frustrated when we hear that a member is not taking care of themselves and is continually putting themselves at risk. Please get treatment.

Here- Here, Y'vonne! Slovene..personally, i feel that if we answered your questions, we'd be really ethically wrong. And for you to continue to ask us this SORT of thing, means that you don't care whether or no you jeapardize our ethics. That you don't respect our ethics, at all.

Once and for all..allow me to clarify without mincing words. WE ARE NOT DOCTORS. You could have something seriously physically wrong with you, and if we gave you the wrong advice, we could make the situation even worse, or, at the very least, it would cause you to not seek the medical help you need, and you could DIE. YOU may not value your life very much. YOU might not care if you die. But..WE DO. We don't want to play any role in your fate, thank you very much. At least not until you take the initiative, and seek the help of a medical professional. Someone who A) Has the knowledge of how to help you B)Has the ability to actually ascertain the real problem. C)Has the insurance to cover their asses, plus the liscence to practice medicine so no-one could throw them in jail for killing someone if they made a mistake.

Clear enough? PLEASE go get help! GO TO A FREAKING DOCTOR!

Oh...and by the way...if we WERE real doctors...we wouldn't tell you online ANYWAY. Without a physical exam...NO doctor in his or her right mind would give you a diagnosis, or treatment.

I wish I WERE a doctor though..they get paid major bucks, to do what they do!

Slovene, you mentioned in your other thread, in Healthy Pagan, that you HAD seen a doctor. Well...what did HE tell you about your pain? Did he give you a prescription??? If not..WHY not?

See...the same thing sticks. You're doctor knows all the facts, or soon will...we don't. So...if he has prescribed you something..USE it. If not...then there must be a reason.

Concussions can be dangerous things. They reccomend you don't sleep for I think at least 24 hours if you have a concussion, because you can lapse into a coma while you sleep. For that reason, there are probably many pain killers which your doctor would NOT prescribe to you, since they might make you sleepy. Well..the same is true for many herbal formula's for headdaches. Even some of the more mild stress releiving herbs can relax you so much, that you could get sleepy. Which, might not be a good thing. Depending on what exactly your doctor found when he examined you.

Furthermore, it would be unethical for us to really dispense advice on this, being that you have told us that you are under the care of a physician, and a mental health doctor. We have no idea what other drugs you are on right now, if any, and therefore, any herbal advice we could give you, could be wrong. The interactions with your current medications could really screw you up. Herbal medicine, in many cases, is safe and effective. But it is best to consult a professional, if you are a person with recurrant or chronich health problems, or if you are suffering from an "Acute" condition, before trying to medicate yourself, herbally, or with modern medicine.

That's about as clearly as we can spell it out for you.

There are herbal helps that I can recomend to help with the pain. But under these kinds of circumstances, it would be irresponsible for me to do so. Mainly because you have other medical concerns and I'm not familiar with concussions. Please ask your doctor what he/she would suggest for pain management. I'm surprised that your doctor hasn't suggested something already. When will you be going back? It might be a good idea to go back sooner.
