A while back (years ago, lol) I started a project to write program music for each of the 22 trumps and draw miniatures to go with the music.
Well, I lost inspiration and didn't finish the project but I'm thinking that I'll get back to it soon.
If you'd like to see and hear what I have so far, follow the Doc O's Mojo link in my sig.

Well done you are very talented and what a great idea to make up Tarot music!
Oo I really like the World intro and tune! Its very meditative and calming. Ill go through all the others now too...
Do you play all the instruments yourself?
I like all your little pictures too they are sweet :)

Thanks.
So far, I've played all the instruments on the Tarot music myself.
On two of the non-Tarot tunes on the page I had help: My wife (Rebekah) and I did WOW together as part of our hand-fasting celebration and my wife, her daughter (Rachel), and I did Serengeti Mandala one day as a family activity.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rebekah and/or Rachel help on future cards. (Actually Rachel was going to help on The World, but she got busy working on flower art with her mom).

Hi! I haven't linked to hear your music since any time I try something like that, it messes my PC up!
There is a CD constantly for sale on eBay where someone did 22 pieces of music for the Majors. I bought it out of curiousity. Although interesting as a curiousity, I find all the pieces are too short - most are less than a minute. The come-on is that you can play them in random order, or do a reading and play the music in the spread order and hear what your reading 'sounds' like! Yeah, right.
Wishing you good luck in your endeavor, and I hope the composer of that other CD does not get too upset over what I've written!

Hmmm... the short pieces could be cool if the fit together thematically in such a way that you could construct a longer piece as a series of cards.
But mine won't work that way.
When I started, the plan was to release a CD on mp3.com. Their CDs are limited to 56 minutes of music, so I was aiming for 2 minute pieces.
But with recent changes at mp3.com, I've moved this project to ampcast.com and the CD there are full length, so my target length is 3 to 3 1/2 minutes.

Thank you so much for sharing :)
So far I haven't heard them all, I am listening to them now, and I love the world intro. :)

Thanks for listening...
Not that this has anything to do with Tarot, but I just put Aradia I up on the same music page... It's part 1 of a 5 part story of Aradia with musical backing. (Actually, I guess I used the Tarot to guide the story so it is relevant :bigredgri )

Thanks. I seem to have gotten side tracked again. This time to work on the Aradia spoken word pieces on the same page... but I'll get back to the Tarot soon this time. :)
