I'm a beginner. just finished reading The Witchcraft Handbook or something of that sort.. cant remember the title! Anyways have couple questions.

First... I have heard a lot of ways to Astrally project, can anyone describe a good one? Are there any dangers involved?

Also... I was wonder how one can see auras.

Thanks for your time.

Hi,

I don't know anything about astral travel, so I can't help you with that.

You can see auras by standing infront of a mirror in a dimly lit room. Make sure that there is a light-coloured surface behind you. You have to sort of unfocus your eyes, as if your staring past your reflection instead of directly at it. You should be able to see a misty outline.

This method works, but I'm not sure if you're really seeing an aura. Scientists reckon that it's just a trick your eyes play on you.

Not to rain on your parade, but people have written books about how to astral project. It's not really soemthing that could be adequately taught in a post. Maybe you should go to google.com and do a search for astral projection. The same with sensing auras.

And on the astral projection thing I wouldn't even attempt it without months of research and practice of related techniques first.

I have to agree with Myst here. Astral Projection is something that takes a great deal of discipline and understanding. I honestly don't think I would attempt it for the first time without someone who really knows what's going on present. It's kind of like swimming. To learn to swim, you don't just jump off a boat in the middle of the ocean after reading a book about it. And you can't learn to swim by reading replies on a message board. It takes a person with patience to show you the way and help you through the experience.

Seeing aura's is something many people might never fully do. I'm not saying, "give up now," I'm just saying give it some time before diving in.
