scrying mirrors

Ive made one a while back... but I just can't really get into this form of divination...
I meditated and stared into... and past the mirror... quieted my mind...
I saw blue fire...
thats all...
and thats all I ever see...
and now I see nothing...
how many of you have experience with scrying mirrors?

you need to relax and accept what comes, some people never even get as far as you have already

realize it is not going to be like "charmed" and show you a movie

make sure you are grounded, and comfortable, and be open to what comes
can even be a scent, allow your self to realize that and keep working

Well i just build my own black mirror and I have been practicing at night. Few days ago I saw a brown book cover with a rose in the middle, then a glowing small figure like a farie. And i havent seen anything else since. I keep practicing, you need to practice a lot.

I dont like useing them I can see and feel more by closeing my eyes

you shoud ask the flame of any image that comes into the miror
show me what I need to see
and take me where I need to be
this always helps me

the flame my be some kind of helper
did you sit up a gate ward or garden? and did you ask for a helper to show you things

no... I just thought I would see what I needed to see.... a snippet... a picture...or something... I was in a circle...thats it

scrying is not a divination system that can simply be picked up and learned in a few days,or even a few months.
learning to use scrying/divination is definetly a life long practice,there arent any rules other then the tried and true methods of how to begin scrying,the rest is simply exploration and practice.
it sounds to me that you've practiced far enough to see a image,and yet you haven't attempted to learn what this image is for you.
for me scrying isnt a form of divination,but is a method of conjuring thoughts and images,feelings, and bringing them within manifestation.its a medium to work between the 3 dominent plans of this reality.emotions,thoughts,mental forms. and through understanding these 3 cords of reality,i find how to manipulate and work with each one independently as well as with all 3 together.

Yes, it was!
I learned on a crystal ball. I had to practice at least three nights a week for nine months before I saw anything other than clouds and lights. When I finally got pictures, it was all worth it. I've been doing it since the 70's and never tire of it, it still amazes me.
But it takes work for most of us to aquire the knack.

it's definately something that takes practice. Initially all I would see was a grey smoke. Eventually the "smoke" would take shape and most of the time I'd look and wonder what the hell it was that I was seeing...lol. With time and patience it will come to you, if it's meant to.

I have a scrying mirror and the only time I ever saw anything in it was while it was still in the shop where I found it. I was walking past and saw a rippling pattern of tiny black and white checks in the mirror. There were several other scrying mirrors on the same shelf and this was the only one that showed me anything. It's been a while since I tried to see anything in the mirror, but maybe it's time to try again.
